Azeroth Reborn Fan Remake

Azeroth Reborn, a remake of Warcraft 3 in the Starcraft 2 Engine, has been fully released

Warcraft fans, here is something special for you today. A remake of the original Warcraft 3 in the StarCraft 2 engine, called Azeroth Reborn, has been fully released. So, make sure to get it while you still can.

Since this fan remake of WC3 uses the SC2 engine, it has better graphics than the original, a faster game speed,d and smoother pathing.

What’s also funny is that this fan remake could be better than Warcraft 3 Reforged. WC3 Reforged disappointed a lot of PC gamers when it came out in 2020. However, I’m not entirely sure whether Azeroth Reborn looks better than it. It’s been a while since I last laid my eyes on it. So, I guess someone will have to make a comparison video between them.

Since this is a Custom Campaign, it should be safe from both Activision and Blizzard. Still, I suggest downloading it while it’s still up. You never know what may happen once, and if the mod goes viral.

You can download the remake from this link. Below, you can also find a trailer for it. This trailer will give you a glimpse at some of its gameplay tweaks and art style. So, be sure to watch it if you are interested in it.

In the trailer, we get to see the Curse of the Blood Elves. Curse of the Blood Elves is the Alliance campaign in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. This campaign packs around 4 hours of gameplay.

For those wondering, Azeroth Reborn does not only have the Curse of the Blood Elves. It also has many other campaigns. So, you’ll get to play Terror of the Tides, Eternity’s End, Path of the Damned and more.

Again, this is such an amazing fan remake. This is exactly why we love mods. So, kudos to the team for its dedication. It sure as hell deserves the spotlight.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. Thank you for the article! I still find it surreal seeing my project make the news.

I wanted to clarify that we're still one campaign away from completion (2 if you count the Rexxar campaign) and that, since Arcade publishing has been disabled for months, the offline version of Azeroth Reborn is the most up-to-date one (the Arcade version doesn't have the Alliance campaign, for instance).

It also doesn't seem likely this project will get shut down since it's been going for 4 years now and Blizzard knew about it before I even published it.
