Ubisoft has just shared the official PC system requirements for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Moreover, the team confirmed that the PC version will support ray-traced global illumination (RTGI), as well as ray-traced shadows and reflections.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be powered by the Snowdrop Engine. For gaming at 1080p/Low with FSR 2.0 Quality and 30fps, PC gamers will at least need an AMD RX 5700 or an NVIDIA GTX1070 or an AMD ARC A750. Ubisoft also recommends using an SSD and 16GB of RAM.
In order to get 60fps on High Settings with FSR 2.0 Quality at 1080p, you’ll need an AMD RX 6700XT or an NVIDIA RTX 3060Ti. For 1440p, you’ll need an AMD RX 6800XT or an NVIDIA RTX 3080.
Finally, for gaming at 4K/High with FSR 2.0 Balanced at 60fps, you’ll need an AMD Radeon RX7900XTX or an NVIDIA RTX4080.
From what I’ve seen so far, this new Avatar game looks really great. Curiously enough, though, Ubisoft has not mentioned whether the Ultra requirements include the game’s Ray Tracing effects. My guess is that they do not. The reason I’m saying this is because players will definitely need FSR 3.0 Frame Generation to enable all of the RT effects at 4K. And, as we can clearly see, the Ultra PC specs only list FSR 2.0.
Speaking of which, this new Avatar game will support FSR 3.0 Frame Generation from the get-go. And while there will be support for DLSS 2 and Intel XeSS, there is no word on whether it will support DLSS 3 Frame Generation. Guess NVIDIA RTX owners will have to rely, once again, on DLSS 3 Mod.
Ubisoft will release Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on December 7th. Below you can also find the game’s full PC system requirements.
Stay tuned for more!

a recycled / reskined farcry to look like avatar…cmon its Ubisoft…what else expected??????
It’s funny how many people notices this. UBISOFT have so many assets, they don’t have to ever make a new game. Just shift stuff around and call it a day.
A Ubisoft amd sponsored game, i expect bad performances and huge vram requirements

It will still sell millions. Now that the PC Masturbation Race has joined the Console Nation in stupidity and no shame, anything is possible.
While it’s more or less always been like that, the GPU market going completely out of whack in 2020 priced out a lot more people than it should’ve.
Are young people nowadays hyped to upgrade their hardware? Can’t say that i am, but i’m not young either. Maybe if i was a black woman i would have been more enthusiastic towards new hardware, lol.
Black women do not have to pay for new hardware, they just accuse a company of being racist and they are given free 4090s.
Even more reason to be an enthusiast then…
i just saw some gameplay on skillup’s yt and i did not like any of it, sadly. I only like the graphics but not as much as i hoped
FSR 3 only works with VSYNC and isn’t compatible with FreeSync-Gsync. This means terrible frame pacing if you’re not constantly hitting your max refresh rate. This is trash.
Microids usually releases stuff that my potato PC can run. The Smurfs 2 will come out in 2 days, only need an 8GB potato PC and a GT1030 or iPGU to run at 60+ fps. They always release on GoG too, Blacksad is actually free on GoG atm. Mainstream media just reports on blockbuster games, you need to go to indie site, adventuregamers, rpgamer, etc to hear about other games.

He said next-gen games tbf. The question is if these next gen games justify the hardware costs, which probably not, graphics are stagnated so they add brute force stuff like RTX and the like.
I think he edite the post and said just “games” before.
Anyway, I agree with you, I am not willing to invest a lot of money just to get some better graphics. We have decent enough graphics that I mostly care about gameplay really.
FSR1 was garbage.
FSR2 was garbage.
FSR3 is FSR2 + AMD’s frame generation which, no surprise, is garbage.
On the upside – https://www.tweaktown.com/news/94104/avatar-frontiers-of-pandora-on-pc-has-fsr-3-dlss-2-and-xess-support/index.html
Shame no RTGI. Basically a console port again.
When you need a 6c12t CPU and 6700XT for 900p, then you know the optimization is “amazing”.
Not to mention how broken and buggy mess this game will be.
I have seen the preview, the graphics do justify such requirements.
The amount of weird negative and complaining folk in the comment section here is staggering.
Literally everyone is pissing on something or someone so much it doesn’t even make sense anymore.
It’s like a dystopian reality where people do not have any form of reflective ability anymore.
It’s not done by EA you moron.
It’s Embark and Nexon.
Big fat L for you dumb dumb.
What game is that?
Far Vatar Cry Blue skinned people edition !
I saw some previews of this game and it is exactly what I predicted. A reskin of Far Cry. More specifically; Far Cry: Primal.
I simply could not go away your web site prior to suggesting that I really enjoyed the standard info a person supply on your guests? Is going to be back incessantly to investigate cross-check new posts.
They keep talking about “Next Gen” games while we are already 3 years before PS6 and the next Xbox Console generations…
