Aspyr has announced Deus Ex Remastered, coming to PC in February 2026

Now here is a pleasant surprise. Aspyr Media has just announced Deus Ex Remastered. The classic cyberpunk game from Ion Storm is coming back with better graphics, modern features, and quality-of-life improvements for a whole new generation of players.

Deus Ex: Remastered will come out on February 5th, 2026. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared its first trailer, which you can find below. This trailer has some before/after comparison scenes. As such, it will give you an idea of what you can expect from it.

This feels similar to what Aspyr did with the remasters of Tomb Raider. So, expect higher quality textures and better 3D models. I can also see some better lighting effects. However, this doesn’t seem to have any Ray Tracing or Path Tracing.

From what I know, the RTX Remix for the original Deus Ex is still in active development. In fact, you can already download a version of it. So, make sure to try it if you own a high-end NVIDIA GPU.

Right now, the only video we have is from Sony. I don’t believe this remaster will be exclusive to PS5. Aspyr simply decided to announce it during Sony’s State of Play event. Or at least that’s my assumption. The game’s official website is currently unavailable.

Aspyr has not shared any additional details. My guess is that the team will send an official press release later this week. Once we get more details, I’ll be sure to update the story.

Enjoy the trailer!
