Modder ‘Wim Buytaert’ has released a must-have Bioshock mod for Half-Life: Alyx. Return to Rapture is an eight-part story that revisits the iconic world of Rapture from the original BioShock. So basically, you can now experience Bioshock in VR.
Return to Rapture also features enemies and weapons from Half-Life: Alyx to fight. So yeah, this mod does not simply have maps that you can explore.
Additionally, the mod features an original soundtrack by RPM STUDIO warszawa. It also packs an exciting story complete with dialogue from the team’s new professional voice actor Seamus Bryner.

Speaking of Half-Life: Alyx mods, Wim Buytaert has also released a Resident Evil mod for it. This mod features a mini-campaign with a total of 7 maps.

Would have liked more weapon selection but understandably it’s limited to the engine.
I know I’ll get downvoted for this but I thought Alyx, being a long time VR gamer, was pretty average. The graphics are pretty good and it had decent elements but over all I thought it was generic and lacked depth and focus. All I see here is more of the same with Bioshock as the backdrop instead of City 17.
So yeah, I’m sure I’ll check it out because Bioshock but wish it had a better game attached to it I suppose.

Well, people can disagree with that opinion, that is why there is a disagree button. Doesn’t mean people hate OP. I personally really love playing Half Life Alyx though I wish they had more options for veteran VR users as in, have a sprint button, let me climb on things, let me jump etc just as an option.

Man if someone would make a VR mod for any of the Bioshock games (though can you imagine VR in Infinite with the hook swinging?) that would get me so hard. I mean what?
And don’t anybody tell me about Vorpx. It is not VR, it is just a 360 view. I wanna aim with my own 2 hands.
