Agony Unrated will release as a separate product on Steam, will feature all censored content and more

Madmind Studio has announced that an adult, unrated version of Agony will release on Steam. Agony Unrated will be a separate title produced and published by Madmind Studio and without the involvement of any publishers, and will feature additional content and changes suggested by its community.

Madmind aims to make available this new Agony version to all owners of the original game with a 99% discount or as a free DLC, though it has not decided yet as it’s currently talking with the Steam representatives to make sure it is doable.

Agony Unrated will be released about three months from now and it will include all the updates from the standard version of the game. Moreover, it will feature additional sounds in the game and the cutscenes, additional erotic animations for characters in the backgrounds, high resolution textures and models – without any censorship – all the scenes that have been removed from the standard version of Agony, Agony Mode unlocked from the beginning, additional content for Agony Mode (Setting – The Forest, Boss Fight – Baphomet), Succubus Mode unlocked from the beginning and additional animations for Succubus Mode.

  1. Public: “Your game has fiddly controls, environments that are too dark, boss fights that make little sense, stealth mechanics that do not really work, and runs with an erratic frame rate.”
    Madmind: “So… more boobs?”

      1. Not really, they were interested in making non-censored version aviable for quite some time.

With this they said apart from censored content they will also add “Changes suggested by its community.” Which I’m expecting will fix at least some things people have issues with.

  2. They said in a Q&A not long ago that it would be against the esrb so the couldn’t even put out a patch

      1. I believe it affects PC games sold in retail stores but that isn’t really a thing anymore. These days it is just for kids and their toys (consoles).

  3. hmm “high resolution textures and models” soo this publisher forced this studio for console parity to remove all PC stuff from the game ?

  4. Ill repeat myself i was never excited for this game, looked too much like a walking simulator, without anythign interesting going on, you slowly crawled through dark corridors, it wasnt scary it had no substance. Compare that to scorn that had gameplay in it or visage that was scary and had scripted events, it looks boring. No idea why everyone was so excited for it. I thought it was gonna be walking sim tech demo with boobs and gore But as it turns out it is a badly optimized bugghy crappy mess without nudity and gore. Huge fck up.
