2K Games has officially announced Civilization VII, coming to PC in 2025

2K Games has officially announced the next part in its Sid Meier’s Civilization series, Civilization VII. Sid Meier’s Civilization VII will be coming on both consoles and PC in 2025, and you can find below its debut trailer.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is a 4X strategy game developed by the legendary team at Firaxis Games, developers of the Civilization and XCOM franchises.

In this game, you will rule as one of many legendary leaders from throughout history. Establish your civilization, construct cities and architectural wonders to expand your territory, conquer or cooperate with rival civilizations in pursuit of prosperity, and explore the far reaches of the unknown world.

And that’s all. 2K Games hasn’t shared any in-game screenshots. This teaser trailer does not also have any in-game scenes. So, don’t expect much from it. However, the publisher revealed that it will present a gameplay showcase this August.

  1. Probably my favorite announcement of the Summer Games Fest show. It was really nice seeing Sid Meier and while the trailer looked sleek and didn't show any actual gameplay, I still enjoyed it. Again, mostly just because Sid was on screen. I hope the game is good and I'm glad they are still making the games they want to make.
