2K Games has just announced TopSpin 2K25 with an in-engine teaser trailer. TopSpin is considered by many as the best tennis game ever made. This tennis game came out on PC, and other platforms, in 2003.
Unfortunately, other than this teaser trailer, we don’t have any more details about it. 2K Games stated that it will reveal more details soon.
I just hope that 2K Games will not f’ things up. NBA 2K is a shadow of its former shelf. And as for WWE 2K… well… we all know what happened to that franchise.
2K Games tends to include a lot of micro-transactions in its games. And if I had to guess, I’d say that TopSpin 2K25 will follow the examples of WWE 2K23 and NBA 2K23.
The good news is that TopSping 2K25 will most likely come out on PC. After all, the original game found its way to our platform. Let’s also not forget that all of 2K Games’ sports games are available on PC.
From what I could see, TopSpin 2K25 does not feature “next-gen” graphics. So, we can assume that the PC version will be on par with the console versions. In short, this will most likely be similar to WWE 2K23.

Damn 2K is a parasite nowadays though you look at their NBA games. I played Top Spin 1/2 back in the day and loved it.

Lol, the original Top Spin came on PC, Top Spin 2 had a very basic port with no widescreen support unlike the 360 version (no widescreen mod available either) and Top Spin 3 and 4 have never been ported, so just like what’s happening with EA Sports UFC, no one can tell if this is coming to PC, it has high chances to be console exclusive, PS and Xbox stores already have the game listed while there is no sign of it on Steam and Epic
It’s 2023. Nobody wants to skip the PC platform anymore as it is probably the biggest gaming market. Unless you are Rockstar and you are confident that PC gamers will double dip 😛
Go tell that to EA who skips PC for EA Sports UFC and 2K who still didn’t upgrade the PC version of NBA 2K, it’s well known that the PC platform is not the best seller when it comes to Sports games

Tennis Elbow 4 is unbeatable at the moment, but if this one can improve on Top Spin 4’s already perfectly balanced gameplay, it’ll be a serious challenger. Top Spin 4 might be the only tennis console game I play from time to time.
