And it finally happened. Modder ‘Swiz19’ has just shared an amazing mod for Uncharted The Lost Legacy that brings to it Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series.
This mod basically replaces Chloe Frazer with Lara Croft. As such, Uncharted will now feel like a Tomb Raider game. This series started as a “Tomb Raider clone“, so playing as Lara Croft makes kind of sense. Unfortunately, though, the mod does not alter Chloe’s voice. Thus, I hope that a future version of this mod will use AI tools in order to achieve that.
This Tomb Raider mod features three outfits for Lara. These outfits are inspired by previous games and movies. So, you can find a classic outfit, as well as one from Cradle of Life and one from Angel of Darkness.
Lara’s jeep has been also changed from red to blue, inspired by The Last Revelations. All of the gear (rope, piton, & flashlight) is hidden, and all of the weapons are holstered when hidden (except for the dual pistols which are always present).

Wokeism??? The biggest thing I remember about The Lost Legacy is that not only did Chloe retain all the butt jokes directed at her but they clearly apologetically “upgraded” her backside since Uncharted 2 too.

Haha i knew someone dumb was going to say this. I am talking about the original animation! The skin is great. But it simply does not fit with this manly running animation from Naughty Dog.
The whole point is that Uncharted is just a more scripted Tomb Raider.
I don’t think they even have the tools to change the animations.
The real problem was back when this game was made there weren’t that many motion capture artists out there so basically one guy did all the running and combat animations. Plus it’s a lot cheaper to hire just one person rather than 2 or 3
So exactly what does a womanly running animation look like? You watch a female and male Olympic runner and there really isn’t much difference in the way they run …
The Unified Lara mod for Rise of the Tomb Raider is much better actually. Did someone used Lia Thomas as a reference for this and just used a different face or what?

This doesn’t work with the Uncharted “Legacy of Thieves Collection” there isn’t an actor77 folder??? Weird or maybe I’m clueless?
Lost Legacy was a huge improvement on Unsharted 4. Loser Cuckmann wasn’t involved, so we didn’t get a game really, really long cutscenes and where the 1/3rd is a huge bore.
Still, I have no intention of revisiting this any time soon. Maybe when the PC version hits the heavily discounted prices of which we the PC ports of Horizon 1 and Days Gone going for.
I liked U4 more.
Classic Lara outfit looks great here. Crystal Dynamics could learn a thing or two after that disastrous reboob trilogy that killed the character.
