The “GB_2 Development Team” has released a brand new version of the No VR Mod for Half-Life: Alyx. Moreover, the team released a brand new gameplay video that showcases the mod in action, and we highly recommend watching it.
According to the team, Version 4 allows you to fully play the first six chapters without having to use noclip. If you choose to continue from there, there is quick access to noclip with one button to continue on.
Furthermore, the team will be adding some new cool features in future versions. For instance, you can expect Combine Fabricators (for weapon upgrades) and a Secondary weapon fire. Moreover, we’ll get No Gravity Gloves (for manual pick up/drop/throw) and HLA HUD.
All in all, HL: Alyx’s NoVR Mod looks better than ever. What’s also cool here is that the mod is compatible with Steam Deck. Oh yes, you can run now Half-Life: Alyx on a Steam Deck.
Last but not least, this latest version comes with an easy-to-use installation. All you have to do is simply follow this guideline
- Copy the “game” folder to the folder you have Half-Life Alyx installed through Steam.
- Add these launch options under properties to the game before launching it with the mod:
-novr -vsync - Then start the game

Was reading a over a post of some VR users where they were discussing which “PILLS” you can take to prevent getting dizzy and having headaches while using VR headsets.
How about not using it to begin with.
Maybe consider the fact VR must have already had a detrimental effect on your psyche, and you probably already lost double digit IQ points, when you are considering taking medication to play VR games.

Very few get into issued if they have a good vr set with proper framerates (w/o tearing). Soo good set and a good rig to run it ie not many who have both parts needed.
IMO VR isn’t garbage, just not good enough at affordable prices.

Think this, the same company that sell you a game for elitist that have money to pay expensive VRs and computers, this company have a store totally satured with cheap sh*ty games. So is imposible use the search in a optimal way… You have got or triple A or sh*ty games in your search
