Baldur’s Gate 3 fans, here is something for you today. Modder ‘Queen Plouton’ has released a new cool mod for BG3. This mod adds to the game a new unique Drow Warlock companion. This new companion has his own custom dialogues, a recruitment event, active leveling and a new quest line.
Going into more details, players can also decide to recruit Veilyn as a companion or play through his story from his own perspective as a brand new origin character. If you choose him as your companion, Veilyn will level with you. You can also take Veilyn with you from Act 1 all the way to Act 3 and see his place in camp change with your adventure.
As said, the mod also has a new quest line, called The Bloodletter. Currently, there is only a single quest trigger, but more will come with future updates. The modder plans to expand this quest line so that it can unfold across multiple acts, offering players meaningful choices that will influence Veilyn’s fate and the world around him.
Another cool thing is that Veilyn can react to specific in-game environments, NPCs, and major events. There is also a new custom dialog system. This is a demonstration of new and edited dialogs both as a companion and as an origin character.
What’s interesting here are the future plans for this mod. The modder plans to really expand it with new cool features. For instance, there are plans for voiced lines. There are also plans for new locations, romance options and additional subquests.
You can download this first version of this cool mod from this link.
Speaking of BG3, I also recommend downloading this HD Texture Pack for it. This pack will greatly enhance a lot of the game’s textures. Created by WestAard, this pack uses AI tools to upscale the original textures. As such, the modded textures retain the art style of the original ones.
Another cool mod you can download is the real-time combat mod. As its title suggests, it turns this turn-based RPG into an action RPG. In its current state, the Brawl – Real Time Combat Mod is only meant to be used with standalone game modes, like Trials of Tav. However, its creator is working on adding it to the SP campaign.
Baldur’s Gate 3 came out in 2023 and took the industry by surprise. Larian has done a terrific job with it. So now, I’m curious to see what the studio’s next game will be. From what we know, it won’t be Baldur’s Gate 4. Still, let’s hope that it will be up to the standards that BG3 set.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Drow my god!
great mod ! impressive too.
But what i realy would like to see are enviromental mods that take story quests into a forest like this ; https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/2dd97559fdac317edb19f594ff986a83f30f18ec3dc0611730f69ea1ccb5059f.jpg
how gay?
This game is almost 160GBs, it's kind of insane but I want the game to be 100 times larger.
I want DOS3 to be completely open world with multiple cities, multiple factions and day/night cycles, kind of like Skyrim but immersive.
mongrel you want your tiny peepee to be 100 times bigger to i bet. you have to use a magnifying glass to find it to pee or sit down on the toilet and pee like a little girl. hahh i laugh at you little one
Okay doctor pidaras, thanks for the info.
They have talked about how their smaller scope allows them to maintain quality and still make a profit. If they went big time then they have to accept all the DEI loans and government oversight that goes with it. CDPR did this and is already cratering. They took money from the government (which is just banks) and within a couple years they had diversity hires lobbying false accusations at the lead of Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk (halfway through development). He was cleared in an investigation but left the company. A lot of those employees are now on Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
What they could do is make things more of a sandbox with their engine and world.
"they had diversity hires lobbying false accusations at the lead of Witcher 3 "
They did that to chris avelone and the guy who run the studio that made shadowrun.
Yup. The tatent has simply been run out of the industry by jealous, mentally ill people. Mary Kenney is now at CDPR. Her goal in making games? "To push every lever" to force her LBGT activism.
Any game with her on it is 100 percent screwed. It tells you everything you need to know. She's as big a red flag as Sam Maggs.
why the downvotes she said pull every lever for queer representation, because you know, this is why i play games to talk to queers.
CD PROJECT ADMITED they are 100% PUSHING the activism , so im pushing my money aside very far from these terrorists .
This game didn't have enough dei c*ap in it already?
One of the few negative aspects of this game is how there's no Dwarf companion, always a western rpg classic. Also no bard companion. This game would be perfected if Larian made Alfira a companion and added a monk Dwarf companion, both with the same level of depth compared to everyone else
I don't play satanic LGBT filth, but if you're going to recommend mods for this trash, at least talk about the "unwokifying" ones.
There's a big mod called "No Alphabets", you know what I mean. 😉
Also, "Baldur's Better Aesthetics", that makes characters look less like non-binary freaks.
And finally, "Even Better Romance", which, among many other things, removes disgusting deviant relationships with companions.
For Hogwarts legacy there are mods that totally cancel the dei and lgtq BS , there is one that turns serona into a actual woman , at least i don't have to deal with her old flighty voice.
With the amount of effort he's put into this, this guy could have probably made his own game.
