Medal of Honor Airborne feature

After 5 years of development, Medal of Honor: Airborne Redux 2.0 has been released, featuring over 120 changes

After five years of hard work, modder ‘IDrinkLava’ has released Version 2.0 of his Redux Mod for Medal of Honor: Airborne. This new update includes over 120 changes, improvements, and bug fixes. Let’s take a closer look at it, shall we?

First things first, though. What is the Rexux Mod for Medal of Honor: Airborne? Well, this is an enhancement and gameplay overhaul mod that attempts to fix the jank that plagues this WWII FPS. For instance, it fixes its low FOV and awkward leaning/walking controls. It also changes the Campaign difficulty to make the game feel more like a serious, tactical shooter instead of an easy, arcade-style shooter like Call of Duty.

Version 2.0 rebalances the difficulties, and they are now properly labelled for newcomers. It also packs an optional patch that will uncesor the game on Steam and Origin. Moreover, it adds support for more aspect ratios. So now, you will be able to enjoy it at 3:2, all three “21:9” aspects, and 48:9. Plus, the mod now has full gamepad support through Steam Input.

According to the modder, Redux V2.0 makes big improvements to how the game controls with a keyboard and mouse. This helps players who are used to certain key movements. It also changes how the guns work, including how much they move when you shoot (recoil) and how much damage they do. The leaning and peeking controls are now quicker and let you see more around corners. There are also new scope graphics that look more like real-life scopes, and the game has a brand-new health bar.

And there’s even more. Version 2.0 will take out more arcade-style stuff from the screen, like the True Trigger meter and the scope zoom meter. It also fixes how accurate enemy snipers are, so the game feels more fair. Plus, there’s a new “fire selector” feature in beta state that lets you switch to semi-automatic firing on some guns.

Overall, this is a really cool mod that many Medal of Honor fans might enjoy. It makes Airborne feel more real and improves the way the game plays. So, if you like Medal of Honor: Airborne, you should definitely give it a try. You can download it from this link.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

    1. Absolutely!

While I think that the majority (but not all) of the Medal of Honor games are just above average at best, this was honestly one of the better games out of the entire 15 games in the series and overall a pretty good game.

Plus, the graphics were really good for a 2007 game.

  1. There are tears coming down my face. One day Jews and other low quality ethnicities and brain dead f4ggots like evangelists in US will pay for what they did to my beloved Führer
    Heil Hitler

      1. Fck off Jew worshipping low IQ brain dead ugly inbr3d f4g
All non-Germanic and non-Aryan ethnicities are scum of the earth
        Heil Hitler

          1. There’s the victim Jew card again, you shoot kids in their head, decapitate and butcher babies on a daily basis then play victim.
I can’t log into twitter without seeing babies with no arms and legs for one day.
I’ve been talking sh*t about every ethnicity on the planet on this site, you’ve been upvoting my posts but when it is your people’s turn, you cry like a little b*tch.
I hate sh*t for brains like hasan the c*ckroach because he’s a two face hypocrite who is a sack of sh*t deep down, kind of like you.

          2. I actually try not to upvote your posts.

I also have nothing to do with the violence in the Middle East, nor do I have anything to do with either side. I'm just pointing out that you seem to hate Jews as much as Hassan and his N@zi buddies do.

          3. I don’t, some of the best people I know are Jewish and I love them.
I hate religious people and extremists of all sort, and baby killers are one of them (obviously I don’t mean all Jews).
As for hasan piker, he’s just a two face clout chaser, he’s a piece of sh*t and I don’t give a fck what he has to say.

    1. We used to call kids like you "edgelords". Is that word still in use, or does everyone just call you f*king r**arded now?

  2. I wish if someone could make an offline bots mod for this game, this is the best game out of all the 15 games in the entire series. The only MOH game that has an offline bots mod is Allied Assault, and not only it's a very old mod from around 20 years ago (2005), Allied Assault itself is crap and overrated.

  3. It also changes the Campaign difficulty to make the game feel more like a serious, tactical shooter

Why? MoH was always an arcade shooter.
Why those people always want to change games into tactical shooters, mil-sim.
The same clowns are changing BF 2042 with, X10000DMG in BF Portal…
How much brain damage you need to have to do this.

    1. Same thing with the no-lifer tryhards who complain about pretty much any game to the point of proceeding to make entire mods game way harder than it already is regardless of genre.

For example, there are idiots who are complaining that Omori (a turn-based JRPG) is "too easy", yet I thought that its difficulty is balanced just right; not too hard, not too easy. So of course, that didn't stop these losers from making entire mods to make it harder supposedly because of how "too easy!" the game is as they claim it to be.

  4. Great game. Good to see it's not forgotten by fans. I remember these graphics looked insane back in the day on TV like it was a real-life camera footage. You'd need real balls to play it back then. Soundtrack was great too. Shame this series along with many others have been buried by EA.

  5. I'm glad the modder is restoring all the stuff he removed due to "realism" concerns.
This game was really not about that.

The fact that you paradrop into a Flak Tower is telling.

  6. The Steam version of this game sucks. I don't remember playing the original retail release, but my father had a copy of it. Maybe the Steam version won't be so bad with this mod.

  7. I was just thinking about this game the other day, to replay it…this is a great excuse to actually install it now!

  8. The graphics were nice and the audio design. And that's about it. The final nail in Medal of Honor WW2 coffin. The last great MoH was Pacific Assault. Damn that game was so demanding!

    1. "The last great MoH was Pacific Assault."

You mean that mountain of bugs that you could barely even play past 10 minutes without encountering a bug that hasn't been fixed even to this very day and a difficulty that feels as if they just used Invincibility in the console to "playtest" the game and then rushed that trash to the storefronts? ROFL!

  9. Imagine being a modder with this level of experience and still not knowing to use higher than 8-bit color or to change his matte color to black before export on his textures with transparency.

I'm feeling an immense amount of second hand embarrassment for him.

I can't look at those scopes without them screaming "highschooler modding games instead of doing their homework" at me.
