Tom Clancy’s The Division – Public test server will go live on September 26th

Ubisoft has announced that the Public Test Server for Tom Clancy’s The Division will go live on September 26th. According to Ubisoft, this server will feature ‘a game version on which new Updates will be made available before their official release, in order to allow the community to try them and provide feedback to the development team.’

The PTS was meant to go live on September 13th, however Ubisoft decided to delay in the last minute.

In case you’re wondering, the PTS is a different product and you will need to download the entire game client again.

So PC gamers will have to re-download the new client. Thankfully, Ubisoft confirmed that your characters from the live game will be transferred to the PTS.

  1. ” the PTS is a different product and you will need to download the entire game client again.”

    You mean the entire game?

        1. Yeah, WoW has the same thing (PTR – Public Test Realms), & so does Battlefield 4 (PTE – Public Test Environment).

In both cases, you have to download a completely separate, full-sized client in order to log on to & subsequently have access to their respective “Public Testing Facilities.”

    1. Honestly had a lot of fun with that game for a longer period of time than I care to admit. Actually kinda sad it was shut down.

        1. Was essentially a tactical GOW (lack of chainsaws). Was fun for a free to play, was still able to frag pretty well without giving into the P2W.
