TopWare Interactive has announced that after selling over ten million units, Reality Pump Studios has officially begun work on the third part of its RPG series, Two Worlds. Two Worlds III is currently in the concept stage and scheduled for development over the next 36 months.
TopWare Interactive also announced a major engine update for Two Worlds II. And if that wasn’t enough, the publisher will release eight new Two Worlds II multiplayer maps and two brand-new, single-player Two Worlds II DLCs, Call of the Tenebrae and Shattered Embrace.
Here are the key features of this updated version for Two Worlds II.

But didn’t the last two kind of suck? I’m not saying a developer can’t turn a new leaf, but after Raven’s Cry, I have zero faith in this being any good.
Third time is the charm? ¯(?)/¯
TW2 was certainly their best effort and it looked gorgeous, I did play a lot of it ,the different places and exploring kept me interested.
I liked the tombs in egypt and the asian enviroments
TW1 was kinda meh, but you had full unrestricted access to the huge gameworld right from the start. That was really cool, as most so called ‘open world’ games don’t do that.
While I can appreciate an open world game that’s unrestricted on a technological level, at the same time, I’d rather have a well designed open world even at the cost of it being a little cramped (Yakuza games come into mind).
The only thing I can remember about TW1 is visuals. It still looks good, even after 10 years, but everything else is subpar. It’s better to play Gothic instead.
I heard good thing about TW2 though, but haven’t got my hands on it.
The first one sucked hard but the second was ok for the time it came out, it does not compare with what we got today.
I am the more advanced model, Denton. It’s time for you to retire.
I loved this game, it was amazing even though it looked out of date even back then.
Was still better than Oblivion. Story wise as well. While the story wasn’t great, it had that awesome saturday morning cartoon feel to it.
So wait, they finally got DX11 working properly with the engine now? 😛
I wish they would make Septerra Core 2
So, where is my Earth 2170, Topware?
Good news, indeed. Do they also plan a major overhaul of the awful voice-acting, too? One can only dream, I guess.
