  1. PC devs don’t make enough money they say, yet you see all these PC games on PC first then they’re able to make a console version. This game doesn’t need a redux, it still looks great on PC.

      1. Im wondering that too…just about half of STEAM library I got in sales dont know why tough…

        #Steam #GoVegan

  2. For me one of the first if not the first indie game I bought and still one of the best I played. The DLC/Expansion was free as well and added a couple more hours into the story.

    Great old school shooter mechanics and a very cool cyberpunk atmosphere.

    Hope this means we can see a second one soon after this “redux” version.

    1. The atmposphere and style and perfomance was good but the gameplay was meh. Only 2 weapons and samey robot enemies, combat needed work too much blur too many blood effects not a good dodge system or fast paced combat. Shadow warrior was miles better. I never bothered with the dlc. So i got to ask, are those human enemies in the trailer from the dlc? Or new Like the sword?

      1. only 2 weapons? are you serious? each weapon has like 5 modes which translates to 10 weapons, plus they all got special attacks as well that stun or slow down enemies of course with a cooldown. but the weapon switching is really fast so you end up being able to switch weapons many times per second while using all their cooldowns to stun or slow down enemies and stuff like that
        its by far the best weapon system on a FPS plus the game is hard as hell on insane / heroic

      2. It’s been a while and can’t remember if those “human” enemies were actual humans. (I bet those were like augmented, cyborgs or something like that)

        And as @zin33 said yeah you have like 2 weapons but the customization on each one of them like using mods, was really cool in my opinion.

        It is a short game, like 9 hours with the expansion but with action all the time and very good gameplay.

  3. I loved Hard Reset I paid full price on launch, I didn’t preorder because it had a discount I wanted to give them as much support as possible. I want a sequel and I don’t care if it has to be put on consoles.

  4. I hope that’s a hint that they’re making Hard Reset 2. Didn’t like the game much though, mostly because it wasn’t really interesting to shoot robots, and cyberpunk itself was very cliche. I think it would be better if it will be more close to something like 2000 AD.

  5. “reenergized for modern audiences”

    Dumbed down for console teenagers

    “upgraded visual engine”

    Technology downgraded to work on consoles, extreme post-processing filters added

    “rebalanced gameplay”

    Speed = 0.5
    AimAssist = 1
    EnemyHalfDamage = 1
    EnemyHalfHealth = 1

    There you go, now it’s accessible, uh, I mean, “reenergized”.

  6. After Hard Reset and Hard Reset Extended Editon I am counting the third version or relaunch of the same game. The game itself is from 2011 by the way.
