Rockfish has informed us about the pre-alpha gameplay trailer of its upcoming space shooter, Everspace. Everspace is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and aims to deliver “state-of-the-art effects with breath-taking explosions and PhysX simulations for extended destruction of the environment.” Rockfish will launch a Kickstarter campaign for this game this August, so stay tuned for more!

Too many games and so little time to play them. I would not be surprised if some day we have game pills that give you instant memories of playing a game or watching a movie without spending that time to actually experience them.
I think EA tried to achieve something similar by making you buy “shortcuts” with some of their games like Dead Space 3.
I keep buying or tempted to buy these space games but I never seem to get around to play most of them. This game looks beautiful but it’s made by the makers of Galaxy on Fire(I wasn’t too happy with the always-online DRM it has) and it’s rouge-like. That’s two things keeping my excitement in check atm.
awesome
These RockFish guys are coming up pretty strong! I love how this looks! I have a feeling is better than No mans sky..
This is basically just a tech demo. Why are people comparing it to NMS and Star Citizen?
Because this is the trend this year and we have nothing else to compare it too? Nothing upcoming that is.
The graphics look amazing. I always thought UE4 would be great for a space game.
Even in pre-alpha stage it already looks great.

Now this would be great in VR.
1:27 wormhole looked great up until random f*cking lightning appeared on it…
Wow, this looks so amazing.
