Pearl Abyss has released a new set of screenshots for its spectacularly great looking MMORPG, Black Desert. Black Desert is just beautiful. Though there have been some graphical compromises in some areas, Black Desert is by far the most beautiful MMORPG we’ve ever seen. Enjoy!

Are we going to talk about those awful low resolution textures or not just because this is a PC only game?
I don’t know but latest articles here are all about downgrades, laughing at others opinions and such. Terrible behaviour.
I’ve seen better images of this game, and it looks even better in motion. If you can play Archeage you would be able to play this one just fine as well.
It is an MMO dud , give it a break. It is supposed to run more than 30 people on screen (not counting mobs/bosses) with tons of spells and effects at the same time in decent frame rate , it can’t have super duper detailed graphics on every spot
Even strong pcs would struggle and the majority of MMO players have mid to low end pcs , you can’t aim a high end product to those guys.
I agree tho , on the 3rd picture it looks pretty ugly they should improve it a little it is out of sync with the rest of the scenery.
Yeah I know about that…but we at least know how it all works in this kind of games. I like how this game looks even with those awful textures here and there…but my point was how people complain when they do this kind of thing in a multi-platform game.
Look at the new video from The Witcher 3 as an example. (my personal most anticipated game for next year) Consoles “blame” or not they do it because the game is just what it is…an open world full of detail that can’t be run in all PC’s aside from consoles.
What it is wrong for me is when they downgrade things on PC to make the game look the same as on consoles (or even worse like PES 2015 which I own on PC of course). On PC is like developers forget that you can turn on and off things, and choose the quality of the game depending in the hardware you have. Why downgrade the top details in a PC game is beyond me…(Watch Dogs for example)
The game seems to have a unique look to it somehow, looks like a fusion western and Asian style of visuals.
Visuals look bad IMHO they are too waxxy (is that even a word?).
