Spoiler alert everyone. Bethesda has released a new video for its upcoming horror game, The Evil Within, showing one hour of gameplay footage. The Evil Within is developed by Shinji Mikami – creator of the seminal Resident Evil series – and the talented team at Tango Gameworks, and is said to embody the meaning of pure survival horror. The game is planned for an October 14th release. Enjoy!

I want it to be great…but so far nothing outstanding…and no RS1 feeling…better wait for RS1 in STEAM…but hoping to be wrong!
Please….
I don’t get why they would want to release so much game footage so early. Damn in my opinion that’s a stupid move. Luckily I never watch these things as I hate spoiling games I look forward to.
Those black bars are disgusting. Hopefully you can disable them on PC version.
It’s because they are “formatting it for cinema scope” like a movie. On the other hand I think that sort of thing should only be reserved for movies. Games should just adjust to whatever aspect ratio you have. So if one wanted the width shown in the video there they should just get a 21:9 monitor. Hopefully when one plays it on one of those it adjust properly and doesn’t do something silly like add bars to that too.
This looks surprisingly bad considering the developers pedigree.
