Polycount’s member ‘jovcem’ has been working on a map, inspired by the universe of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. jovcem was building this map in UNITY but decided to switch over to CRYENGINE as he wasn’t happy with the results of his UNITY-based map. jovcem seems to have finished working on this map, and decided to share some screenshots from it, giving us an idea of what a direct CRYENGINE port of DE: Human Revolution would look like. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”

Really like the attention to detail.
Don’t you think this would be more impressive if you gave us screenshots of the original to compare?
I’ll say exactly what I said last time a part of a Deus Ex: HR level was remade in UE4… the real game looks better because it has more character and is stylized from it’s shaders, color grading, artstyle, etc. It isn’t an overly polished, super clean, render.
