Modder ‘Khione95’ has released a new cool mod for Crimson Desert. Seasons of Pywel adds a full four-season system to the game. The seasons follow the game’s calendar and change while you play, allowing you to experience the world of Crimson Desert in a completely new way.
Going into more detail, Pywel now has Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Each season changes the look of the world. Spring brings bright green trees and grass. Summer keeps the game’s normal look. Autumn adds golden, orange, and brown colors to trees, bushes, grass, and terrain. Finally, Winter covers the world with snow, frost, and ice.
The mod also adds seasonal temperature changes. Summer is hotter, while Spring and Autumn are cooler. Winter is much colder and can bring freezing nights. The good news is that fires can still warm the player. The desert also stays warm, even during Winter.
Weather changes with the seasons, too. Winter can bring snow, while Autumn and Spring can bring more rain. Summer stays mostly dry. Rain and snow can last for several in-game hours. Clouds also build up as bad weather arrives. The weather follows the game’s clock, so sleeping and waiting can move the weather forward.
Winter also adds deep snow. Snow slowly builds up while it is snowing. Heavy snow can reach full depth faster than light snow. Deep snow spreads from colder areas to warmer parts of the world. It also makes the temperature drop even more. When snowfall stops, the snow stays for a while before it starts to melt.
Deep snow can be turned off in the Control Menu. Normal Winter snow, cold weather, and snowfall will still work when it is disabled.
The mod gives players many ways to control the seasons. The Control Menu can be opened with F5. Players can let the seasons follow the calendar or lock the game to one season. They can also choose how long each season lasts. Available lengths range from 3 to 90 in-game days, including 7, 14, 30, 45, 60, and 90 days.
The Control Menu also shows the current day, season, weather, weather duration, and snow depth. The menu key can be changed in the mod’s settings file.
There is also a testing menu for screenshots and videos. It lets players force clear weather, rain, or snow. It can also change the temperature, set snow depth, and move the calendar to the start of a new season. This makes it easy to create specific weather and seasonal scenes.
Version 1.0.2, which is the latest version, also fixes several issues. Snow depth is now saved based on the in-game day and time. Loading a save will restore the snow depth from that point. Moreover, loading a save no longer causes the game to treat the loading time as sleep. Deep snow also no longer creates extreme winds. Winter cold has been adjusted as well, so cold areas do not become deadly without reason.

Speaking of Crimson Desert, here are some other cool mods for it. For starters, we have Crimson Route. This mod adds road-based navigation routes to Crimson Desert. With this mod, you can track a quest or place a custom marker, and a route will appear on the world map and minimap.
Another cool mod is the character creator mod. This lets you build your own character by using the barber. It includes 98 face presets and 159 hairstyles for females. It also includes almost all the male options. Plus, it supports the human, Orc, and Goblin races. You can download it from here.
We’ve also shared three HD Texture Packs that most of you should use. The first pack covered the outdoor stone ground textures in Hernand. Then, the second pack overhauled all the textures that were in the game’s “Folder 0000.” Finally, the third pack overhauled the bark textures for all trees, making them look sharper, cleaner, and more detailed.
Have fun!
