When Tides Turn has announced Wreckreation 2, the sequel to Wreckreation. Wreckreation 2 is a new open-world arcade racing game. Alongside its announcement, we got its first gameplay trailer. And, as you will see, it has a strong Burnout feel, with fast racing, big crashes, and over-the-top action.
In Wreckreation 2, players will be able to slam opponents aside, force mistakes, seize opportunities, and deliver the perfect takedown. According to the devs, every race will unfold differently, creating battles that last from the first corner to the finish line.
The game will take place in the Heartbreak City. In this city, every neighbourhood will have its own character, and every road will offer another opportunity to gain an advantage.
You will battle your way through dense downtown streets. You will also test your speed on sweeping overhead freeways. Furthermore, you will be able to turn expansive airport runways and towering dockyards into giant playgrounds, and then uncover hidden backroads full of daring shortcuts.
Wreckreation 2 will have seven different game modes. Those are Race, Road Rage, Marked Man, Pursuits, Blackspots, Wreckonings, and Eliminators.
There is currently no ETA for when the game will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
