Modder ‘Rohansrinivasan123’ has released the New Legacy Mission Pack for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. This mod adds 25 original story missions to the game. And, since this mission pack adds new free content to the game, I recommend giving it a go.
Going into more details, New Legacy expands the original game with 25 brand-new story missions. Built using Sanny Builder and CLEO, this project delivers fresh gameplay while staying true to the classic Vice City experience.
Players will take part in intense shootouts, daring heists, high-speed chases, and raids on gang hideouts. They will also protect allies and complete action-packed missions across the city.
Each mission has its own goals, characters, locations, and cinematic moments. This helps every mission feel fresh and different. Furthermore, we get custom cutscenes and mission briefings.
Whether you are returning to Vice City after many years or playing it for the first time, New Legacy adds hours of new content while keeping the original story intact.
You can go ahead and download the mod from this link. Sadly, though, I could not find a trailer or a gameplay video for it.
Speaking of GTA Vice City, I also recommend trying the NextGen Edition Project.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nextgen Edition is a free remaster that Take Two tried to shut down. This project brought all the missions, the whole map, and content from the original game to the RAGE Engine. And, ironically, this felt better in every way than the sloppy official remaster that Take-Two released in 2023.
GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition has an improved version of the city – and weapons – from the Definitive Edition. All the cars from the Xbox version of the original game will be present here. Additionally, all the models of all characters and peds will be from the Xbox version. So, the game should look better than the original PC version. And that’s without using any mods for it.
Those interested can download its latest version from here. There is also an HD Texture Pack you can download for it.
It’s also worth noting that GTA: Vice City NextGen Edition is compatible with the RTX Remix Path Tracing Mod. In my opinion, this is the best way to re-experience Vice City. As with most RTX Remix Mods, it requires a high-end GPU. Still, this is a unique experience that most Vice City fans will appreciate.
Another cool mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City NextGen Edition is this first-person mod. As its name suggests, it lets you experience Vice City via a first-person perspective. And then we havethis mod, which aims to improve the handling of all cars and bikes.
Have fun!
