Maverick Games has released the first official trailer for its upcoming cinematic open-world action-driving game, CLUTCH. CLUTCH is being made by former Forza Horizon devs, and it might be the game that will replace Need for Speed.
In CLUTCH, players will live the double life of a modern racing outlaw in a world driven by ambition, rivalry, and risk. They will compete in elite sanctioned racing by day, then descend into the underground after dark, where cinematic getaway missions, escalating pursuits, and social chaos transform every road into a story.
CLUTCH aims to deliver a breathtaking open world built for speed, style, and spectacle. You will get to race in yacht-lined harbors, winding coastal roads, mountains, gorges, vineyards, and the hilltop villages of the Riviera.
Players will be able to build their reputation through high-stakes race-and-chase gameplay, dynamic social sandbox events, and daring escapes. They will also be able to master experimental ClutchTech mods and personalize their cars. And, according to the devs, there will be an extensive upgrade system for your cars.
Maverick Games plans to release CLUTCH sometime in 2027.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
