Crimson Desert new feature-2

Crimson Desert Hits 5 Million Sales in Less Than a Month

Pearl Abyss has announced that Crimson Desert has sold 5 million copies on all platforms. The game launched on March 19th, meaning it hit this goal in less than a month. In other words, this is a big commercial success for Pearl Abyss.

It’s worth noting that Pearl Abyss has unveiled a preview of upcoming updates that address player feedback and include further improvements. These include expanded gameplay, gameplay refinements, and system enhancements scheduled from April through June, aimed at enhancing the overall player experience.

Not only that, but the devs have been releasing patches to address issues and improve things over the past couple of weeks. For instance, they have improved the game’s controls. They have also fixed visual issues with DLSS, and they have added support for AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2. Plus, the game is also playable on the Intel Arc GPUs.

For owners of high-end GPUs, I suggest using this mod. This mod aims to reduce the LOD pop-in issues that plagued the game. It also adds grass shadows, making scenes look more realistic and less flat.

Another cool mod that I have not shared till now is the character creator mod. This lets you build your own character by using the barber. It includes 98 face presets and 159 hairstyles for females. It also includes almost all the males. Plus, it supports the human, Orc, and Goblin races. You can download it from here.

All in all, this is great news for all owners of Crimson Desert. Although the game had a rocky launch, the devs have been working hard to address and improve things.

Funny enough, Pearl Abyss added the Denuvo anti-tamper tech to the game a week before release. However, this has not stopped players from purchasing. So, one of the most successful releases is a Denuvo game. This shows that a lot of players do not really care about it. I’m not saying all of them. I’m saying a lot of them.

Stay tuned for more!
