NACON has just released a demo for its new Cthulhu game, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss. PC gamers can download the demo right now from Steam. Moreover, the publisher has shared a new trailer that you can find below.
In Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, players will take on the role of Noah. Noah is an agent of Ancile, a secret Interpol division specializing in occult cases. As Noah, players will investigate the mysterious disappearance of miners in the depths of the Pacific Ocean.
Noah’s quest will lead players to the labyrinthine prison of R’lyeh, an ancient sunken city where Cthulhu is imprisoned. Alongside his AI companion Key, Noah must solve complex puzzles, make choices that will shape his fate, and resist the mind-corrupting influence of Cthulhu.
NACON claims that the game will have a gripping story with complex characters, brought to life through cinematic storytelling. This new Cthulhu game promises to immerse you in a first-person investigative horror adventure with a rich, branching narrative. Moreover, the devs claim that your choices and understanding will shape Noah’s fate.
NACON will release Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss on April 16th. The publisher has already provided us with a review code, so you can expect a day-1 PC Performance Analysis. You can also find the game’s official PC system requirements here.
