Tides of Annihilation feature-3

007 First Light, CONTROL Resonant, and Tides of Annihilation will have Path Tracing on PC

The list of the path-traced games on PC gets bigger and bigger. Last month, Capcom released Resident Evil Requiem, which supported Path Tracing on PC. In April 2026, the team will also release PRAGMATA, which will also have Path Tracing on PC. And now, we get three more titles that will come out in 2026 with support for Path Tracing on PC.

These three new games are 007 First Light, CONTROL Resonant, and Tides of Annihilation. All of these games will support Path Tracing on PC, as well as NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 tech.

In 007 First Light, players will follow James Bond as a young, resourceful, and sometimes reckless recruit in MI6’s training program, and discover an origin story of the world’s most famous spy.

Players will go on missions in amazing locations, drive famous vehicles, and experience a movie-like adventure while chasing a rogue agent who is always one step ahead. You can choose how to play: sneak in quietly or fight loudly. You will be able to use fists, guns, gadgets, or even tricks to fool guards.

IO Interactive will release 007 First Light on May 27th. You can also find its final PC requirements here.

In Control Resonant, players will join Dylan Faden. As Dylan, they will explore the expansive zones of a city overrun by the corrupting influences of the chaotic Hiss and invasive micro-organism, the Mold, and other twisted paranatural threats.

Players will uncover the motivations of characters and entities throughout ravaged Manhattan. They will guide Dylan as he seeks to re-establish his identity, dig deeper into the inner workings of the FBC, and reveal the horrors threatening humankind.

Control Resonant promises to have a deep progression system. This will define how Dylan adapts to emerging dangers. Players will forge connections crucial to Dylan’s fight to retain his humanity as he journeys from former test subject to paranatural superweapon.

Instead of relying on weapons, Control Resonant will focus on melee action. As such, players will be able to utilize the environment, deploy elemental abilities, and use the raw force of Dylan’s shapeshifting melee weapon, the Aberrant.

With the Aberrant, you will be able to deliver bone-crunching blows with a two-handed hammer and flow seamlessly into the swift precision of dual-wielded blades as this supernatural weapon morphs on demand to meet each new challenge.

Remedy will release Control Resonant sometime in 2026.

Finally, Tides of Annihilation is a third-person game that promises to have a spectral knight dual-fighting system. Players will be able to customize devastating combos with spectral knights in frenetic high-speed battles.

The game will take place in a modern London with a medieval setting. Players will explore iconic landmarks warped by an apocalyptic Outworld invasion.

In Tides of Annihilation, Colossal Knights will roam the city. Players will scale and battle massive, dynamic knights across London in vertical, interconnected challenges. In total, there will be over 30 unique bosses to fight. Some of them will be inspired by the lore of the Knights of the Round Table.
