DON’T NOD has released a new five-minute gameplay video for its upcoming third-person action-adventure game, Aphelion. Moreover, we got the game’s official PC system requirements.
In this game, players will traverse stunning alien landscapes, avoid lurking threats, and discover the haunting secrets buried beneath the ice. But they are not alone. A hostile lifeform will be stalking them. As such, they can use the environment to their advantage.
In Aphelion, you will only have your exploration tools to rely on. This means you’ll use a pathfinder, oxygen tank, grappling hook, and a few other gadgets. With these, you’ll need to face the unknown, cross dangerous terrain, and collect clues about the strange, reality-bending force that threatens your life.
Aphelion promises to offer two different gameplay experiences. With Thomas, there will be a resourceful investigation. With Ariane, you can expect high-stakes parkour gameplay mechanics.
This gameplay deep dive shows more of what awaits Ariane and Thomas on Persephone. We get to see anomalies, dangers surfacing during the planet’s exploration, an unknown facility full of questions, and more tense encounters with the Nemesis.
DON’T NOD will release Aphelion in Spring 2026. The devs have also shared the game’s PC requirements. So, let’s see what PC system you’ll need to run it.
PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7-8700K or an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, an AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, or an Intel Arc A380. You’ll also need 55GB of free disk space to run it. With this PC setup, you will be able to run Aphelion at 1080p/30FPS on Low settings.
The devs recommend using an Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT.
