Avatar Frontiers of Pandora feature

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Update 2.0 Released – Full Patch Notes

A couple of days ago, Ubisoft released Title Update 2.0 for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new patch brings to the table.

Patch 2.0 adds an official third-person mode. With it, players can now enjoy the game from a third-person view, letting them see the world from a new perspective. It also adds a New Game+ Mode.

Moreover, this new update introduces AMD FSR 4.0 and NVIDIA DLSS 4. For NVIDIA RTX-50 series owners, there is also supports for Multi-Frame Gen. As such, you can use it to further improve your in-game performance. As always, MFG may introduce some slight input latency. Thus, I suggest using it with a base framerate of at least 50FPS.

And that’s about it. Ubisoft is also looking into a few problems that they plan to fix in a future update. For example, they know the game can crash when starting up with XeSS Frame Generation. They also know the game can sometimes crash when you exit while using Frame Generation.

On top of that, they are aware of stuttering issues caused by AMD FSR3 Frame Generation when the game is in Borderless Fullscreen. This problem has been around since the game first launched, so it’s a bit funny that it still hasn’t been fixed.

Like always, Ubisoft Connect and Steam will download this update the next time you launch their clients. According to the devs, Patch 2.0 is around 44GB in size on PC. Below, you can also find its complete changelog.
