THQ Nordic has announced that the new game from the devs behind Little Nightmares I & II, REANIMAL, will come out on February 13th, 2026. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher shared a new trailer that you can find below.
In this horror adventure game, a brother and sister go through hell to rescue their missing friends and escape the island that they used to call home.
The devs said they have focused a lot on making the game tense and atmospheric. You will explore a world that is both interesting and scary, where the main path is just one part of the bigger story. Along the way, you’ll find many mysterious places, each with its own story to tell.
Tarsier Studios will bring its unique art style to create many new creepy monsters and tough, but broken, child characters. The designs are inspired by pieces of the children’s troubled past, as well as the monsters that now haunt them.
REANIMAL can be played alone or with others. It will have both local and online co-op. The game will use a shared, fixed camera to make the feeling of tight spaces and tension even stronger.
It’s also worth noting that there is a PC demo you can download and try.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
