Thief VR Legacy of Shadow feature

First gameplay trailer released for Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow

Vertigo Games has released the first gameplay trailer for the New Thief VR game from Maze Theory, Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow. In this video, we get to see a brand-new gameplay trailer and an extended mission walkthrough with Vertigo Games’ Principal Game Designer Nick Witsel.

In this Thief VR game, players will stick to the darkness, evade patrols, and outmaneuver enemies with real-time stealth mechanics. They will also be able to pickpocket guards, pry open hidden compartments, and bypass locks with tactile VR interactions.

Moreover, you will use an array of arrows and tools to distract, disable, or eliminate threats with immersive VR archery. You will climb rooftops, sneak through back alleys, and uncover secrets in a dark, steampunk-inspired world. Not only that, but every heist will offer multiple paths and playstyles. So, you can sneak past guards unseen or take them down from the shadows.

Thief VR: Legacy of Shadows is coming to PC later this year. For what it’s worth, the publisher has not yet revealed the game’s PC system requirements. As soon as it does, we’ll be sure to share them.

Enjoy!

    1. its just so tiresome, "so yeah we know this game has a set character, we just gonna write him out of the game and make you place wit ha female version that is literally him but female because our devs are trooning out" even the eye. Its so blatant.

Also i hate that it looks like dishonored, make it more gloomy damn it.

      1. The Dishonored look makes it a failure already.
I refuse to play that crap.

It doesn't have to be gloomy though.
My favorite maps in The Dark Mod are in realistic settings, and not necessarily gloomy. No skeletons and zombies! I prefer to knock down humans!😁

  1. Way too late.
The Dark Mod is now better than any new Thief game will ever hope to be.

Also, everything feels so wrong in that trailer.
Combat? Seriously? This is a THIEF game. If you have to fight, it means that you failed your mission already.

Also, the consolified interface looks vomit-inducing. I can't stand all these indicators on that busy hud and the highlighted objects and characters… OMG…
Thief is all about minimalism and immersion.
You want ZERO hud, no indicators, no highlights or anything.
If you need to highlight something, it means that you're a bad game designer, period.

As for the graphics, I see that it follows that HORRIBLE recent trend which consists in using the most pathetic simplistic textures ever. I just don't get it. I really, REALLY don't understand this trend.
It's like those overrated Dishonored games. Can't stand the no-textures look. It looks lazy at best.
I REFUSE to play games using such textures.

Finally, I couldn't care less about the VR.
    It's already a dead technology.

    0/10 Won't even give it a chance.
Sorry, I'm the biggest Thief fangirl out there and I'm extremely demanding.
THIEF IS OFFICIALLY DEAD. LONG LIVE THE DARK MOD.
