SEGA has just announced Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. Yakuza Kiwami 3 is an official remake of Yakuza 3, which came out in February 2009 for PS3. On the other hand, Dark Ties is a brand new ale of Yoshitaka Mine from Yakuza 3 in a separate game.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 will take you through the streets of Okinawa and Tokyo, with better graphics than before. The combat has been upgraded, making the fights more exciting and intense than ever. The remake will also have some new scenes that aim to add more emotion and depth to the story. At the same time, fresh side activities will let you dive even deeper into the world.
In Dark Ties, Yoshitaka Mine chooses to enter the dangerous world of the yakuza after losing everything. With nothing left in his heart, he sets out on a dramatic journey to find real connections again. The game features fast and exciting boxing-style combat, along with lots of fun side activities to enjoy.
SEGA will release on February 11th, 2026. Below, you can find the first trailers for them. So, be sure to check them out.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Is this from the remake or the original?
I personally love Yakuza 3 and Kiwami 3 is a dream come true. The only bad thing about it are re-casted characters. Hamazaki and Rikiya were iconic.
yong yeah?
Like new faces or just new VAs?
Orphan caretaker simulator…if one game in the series need an improvement, is this one.
every time i think of getting into these series they do stuff like this.
Lol I know what you mean, I finished Yakuza 3 less than a year ago, and I would've loved to play this version as 3 was quite rough in many aspects.
Glad to finally see the confirmation. Y3 definitely suffered a ton from age and it's a pretty unique game with it's location. I know Mine was fan favorite but didnt think we'd get this along side it. Hopefully it's actually cool and has some depth closer to the Lost Judgement Kaito files and less like the Majima chapters in K2.
