Aspyr Media announced that the second major update for Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered will come out tomorrow and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.
Patch 2 adds to the game Lara’s Golden Pistols. However, there is a catch. To gain access to them, you must register on tombraider.com before the pistols are unlocked. Moreover, the pistols are not available in Angel of Darkness.
Update 2 also adds new outfits to the game. These are the Beta outfit, the X-Ray outfit, and the Classic outfit. You will also get some new filters to the Photo Mode.
The collection should also be more stable now. The developers fixed a few rare crashes that happened during certain cutscenes and scene changes. They also fixed a crash that could happen if you changed outfits in Photo Mode during boss fights. On top of that, the game is now more stable when you exit or load certain levels.
There are also some visual upgrades. The devs fixed lighting, texture, and reflection problems in many HD levels. They also repaired missing or misplaced effects like water, glass, snow, steam, and fire. Character models look better now, and clipping issues in HD versions have been fixed. Plus, they reduced z-fighting and shadow flickering in several levels.
It’s also worth noting that the devs have fixed some softlocks that could occur in specific levels. They have also addressed issues where Lara could get stuck or fall through the world. Plus, they have resolved bugs related to Lara’s health bar, reflections, and outfit unlock conditions.
Like always, Steam will download this update once it becomes available. According to the devs, Patch 2 will go live at 9AM PST. Below, you can also find its complete changelog.

What they need to focus on now is the next remastered trilogy:
Legend, Anniversary and Underworld.
Although… It kinda feels weird since Anniversary is already like a remastered version of the 1st game…🤔…which has been remastered itself too.😵
If only they fix that damn camera and Bugs in Tomb raider Underworld remaster, Tomb raider Underworld has the potential to become the best Tomb Raider game. The camera in underworld was the biggest protagonist players have to fight constantly.
The classic TR games remasters were done very well though, i finished all 5 games, only Angel of darkness left to finish
I would smell Lara's feet after her long day of adventuring.
