Reikon Games and Deep Silver have announced that their adrenaline-fueled sci-fi FPS, METAL EDEN, will be released on September 2nd. To celebrate this announcement, the teams have shared a new trailer that you can find below.
METAL EDEN is a fast-paced action game with cool combat, parkour moves, and a deep story. It will have eight exciting missions and take place in a detailed sci-fi world. You’ll play in a high-tech, artificial world, take control of a powerful robot-like unit, fight in cyber battles, and explore the secrets of a forgotten paradise.
In this game, you play as a HYPER UNIT – a super advanced battle robot. This unit was built to protect, and it is ideal for stealth encounters. You’re powered by a PHANTOM CORE, which gives you amazing powers. As such, you can dash, grab onto things, and run on walls using cool parkour moves. Moreover, you can use your speed and fighting skills to take on tough enemies in fast battles. You can also turn into an ARMORED RAMBALL to smash through enemies. And that’s not all. You can use your gravity hooks and jetpack to fly through the air and take control of the fight.
You’ll enter a high-tech war against machines guarding the secrets of a fake world. You’ll also battle powerful robot enemies and elemental forces that move fast and hit hard. Plus, you will collect energy cores and break through the INTERNAL DEFENCE CORPS shields to take control of the battlefield. And in case you’re wondering, yes. You will be able to upgrade your weapons and skills.
What’s interesting here is that this isn’t a roguelike. METAL EDEN seems to have a proper campaign. This is a big plus in my books. In the past couple of years, we’ve been bombarded by cool games that were roguelikes. I get it that some like this genre. For me, though, roguelikes are not that interesting. So, I’m all in for a sci-fi, fast-paced FPS with a campaign.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Ruiner was nice except for the spongy boss fights
I'm going to buy this with my fingers ready to pull the refund trigger
same studio? All good games come from poland these days.
It’s a developing country where studios can be ambitious since their soul isn’t owned by corpos yet.
