YouTube’s ‘Bahamut Video Game Madness’ has shared a video, showcasing 12 minutes of new gameplay from Silent Hill f. This video was captured from the game’s latest preview build. So, it should give us an idea of what the game currently looks like.
In Silent Hill f, you play as a girl named Hinako. The story is written by the famous author Ryukishi07. The game has beautiful visuals, music by Akira Yamaoka, and a deep story about fear, regret, and tough choices you can’t avoid.
This new Silent Hill game promises to blend psychological horror with a haunting Japanese setting. And while it looks cool, it comes at a really high price, even on PC. The game will cost 80 euros on PC, making it one of the few games that will be released at that price. And, since PC gamers are more demanding than console players, this could easily flop on PC.
But you know what? If Silent Hill f runs silky smooth without stutters on PC, looks amazing, and has a great story, it will justify its high price. I’m serious here. If this is a solid PC release, then I won’t mind that price. But if it suffers from all the tech issues we’ve seen in most PC games, then Konami should reconsider its PC approach.

Actually censorship comes from Right Wing Religious Conservatives in this case a Christian group from Australia but I'm sure the American religious conservatives will gladly jump on board.

I'm interested but not exactly impressed, this style of j-horror is very well established and as such I don't see how it can stand apart in the same way 1-3 do. I really prefer traditional survival horror combat and movement too, but understand they need to sell the game to normal people.
It can't possibly be worse than the western-made games that trashed the franchise. It deserves a fair chance.
Not sure what you're talking about; this is more Silent Hill looking than whatever P.T. was. Silent Hills was going to be a first-person game which is unlike SH. Dunno why people will continue to be obsessed over non-existent games like that. You have no idea how it would have turned out.
OG Silent Hill games where not third person hack and slash/shooters either, but then Silent Hill Homecoming happened, Shattered Memories turned the game into a walking/hiding sim, then there is even a dungeon crawler and rail gun themed SH, so…
They were close enough to being third-person. You have the camera chasing you from behind and instances where it would then become fixed. You’re always seeing the main character no matter what. Making the perspective entirely first-person pretty much defeats the purpose of how the original games were designed. Not that it’s a bad thing; I’m open for every game franchise to experiment with different playing styles, but like Resident Evil, it’s just odd to see such that extreme shift when these franchises have always been made to play a certain way.
The SH2 remake is third-person and that has been well received by many. I don’t think the fault of those other games you mentioned has anything to do with the change of perspective.
Perhaps but I wouldn’t go as far as to calling this game “extremely ugly”. It’s not as photorealistic as P.T. but it still looks good in my opinion. It’s certainly not as creepy but it still has a similar vibe going for it. We just gotta wait and see how it turns out before making a full judgement.

Looks good to me, BUT never a SH guy. Also not a fan of violence towards women thus cant endure female characters. A thing I noticed playing more modern games(Rage 2) I dont want to be "headshotin" women. Get them the F*ck out my violence sims. I was happy when 70% of npcs were bald goons.
