Square Enix has officially announced OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0, which will be coming to PC on December 4. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher has also shared a trailer that you can find below.
As the title suggests, this will be a prequel to OCTOPATH TRAVELER. As such, players will embark on a brand new adventure of their own creation in this stunning HD-2D RPG.
The game will have two brand-new features for the series. The first one is the character creation system. For the first time ever, you will get to become the hero. The second is the town-building mechanics. Players will rebuild their hometown to their vision and invite their allies and those they meet on their travels to move in.
The Break and Boost system will also return. Players will enjoy thrilling and strategic command-based battles using an 8-character party. They will form their very own party from over 30 different travellers.
For what it’s worth, Square Enix has not yet launched the game’s Steam store page. So, we don’t have any PC requirements for it. Still, it’s almost certain to assume that it will use the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. After all, Square Enix has been using it in most of its latest titles.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
