It appears that the Oblivion Unreal Engine 5 Remake is nearing release. According to Jeff Grub, this official remake will be shadowdropped the week of April 21st. In other words, we should expect it at the end of April.
Do note that Grub specifically said “Week of April 21st”, and not “April 21st”. This means that it will come out sometime between April 21st and April 25th.
Both Jeff Grub and NateTheHate are credible sources for leaks. They have not been 100% accurate, but they are still credible for most leaks and rumors. This is why I’ve decided to share this latest leak.
I should also note that if the Oblivion Remake does come out in April, it does not prove DetectiveSeeds right. I know this might sound harsh, but if that leaker did not have a specific release date, he should have simply said that the remake would come out in April and leave it at that. Moving the goalposts is not how you become credible.
From what we know so far, the Oblivion Remake will be a mix of Unreal Engine 5 and the Gamebryo Engine. This means that its visuals will take advantage of UE5. However, the gameplay and physics will still run on the Gamebryo Engine. And yes, something like that is possible.
Since we haven’t gotten any screenshots, I can’t really say whether this will feel like a remaster or a full remake. We might get some news on April 21st, before Microsoft and Bethesda shadowdrop the game on PC and consoles.
Anyway, we’ll soon find out whether this official remake of Oblivion will be worth the wait. Until then, you can try this fan project that has ported the whole map of Oblivion to Unreal Engine 5. This could give us an idea of what the official remake could look like. I personally hope the official remake will be better than it. But, until we a trailer or screenshots on our hands, this is the closest I can think of an Oblivion Remake.
Stay tuned for more!

Is funny how you all fall for this nonsense, with Bethesda still doubling down on CE, you guys have extremely low IQ to believe they working on a UE5 Remake of Oblivion.
To add insult to injury they confirmed to be working on a Remaster of the same game (thanks to dumb FTC).
So again, extremely low IQ to believe money would be wasted to work on a Remaster and Remake at same time.

Remake, remaster, it's probably 1 thing and the rumors and leaks are mixing up what to call it. We'll know when/if it's released this month.
We in 2025, if people don't know the difference between a Remaster and a Remake, they shouldn't be writing pieces.
As already stated, a Remaster was confirmed ages ago and there is no studio that will work on both a Remake and Remaster for the same game, especially with this economy.
Not to mention Bethesda is focused on TES VI, meaning they have no time to be wasting on a full blown Remake, they would have to hire a third-party studio.
You don’t have a fcking clue about this, dude…
1) No one is taking for certain that both remaster and remaie are coming out. Your the only “low IQ” who doesn’t get rumors and speculation, and
2)They are a huge freaking studio, they have tons of people with separate teams internally working on different things, not just TES VI, one of them could have been assigned that or a new team was formed for it, or it was commissioned to some other studio inside or outside the umbrella company.
You clearly that have no idea what you talking about, since there a single team responsible for the RPG series (Fallout and TES), the other teams are working on entirely different games and engine.
Which is why Bethesda has another team working on the MMORPGs, that again don't use CE either.
So if you going to try and act smart, do your research before making comments.
But those are MMOs. Bethesda is married to the creation engine in terms of its single player games, mainly for modding purposes.
Your writing is pretty "low IQ". It's being referred to as both because nobody actually knows which one it is yet. It's being branded a remaster but supposedly being remade in UE5.
also the differences between a remake and a remaster are a bit ambiguous sometimes. The soul reaver remaster had all its assets completely remade, but it's still considered a remaster. The metal gear solid 3 remake, which does nothing but offer some graphical polish, is considered a full-fledged remake. The Kingdom hearts remaster is actually a full-fledged remake because they didn't have any of the original assets anymore, but we still call it a remaster
Metal Gear Solid Delta is a Remake in Unreal Engine 5.
The Kindgom Hearts is a Remaster and it uses the original assets upscaled, and same engine.
Soul Reaver Remaster is exactly the same as Kingdom Hearts.
Is not rocket science, the designations by the developers are accurate, is people like you that are confused, not me.
You claiming Metal Gear Solid Delta is a simple remaster, is ridiculous.

Bethesda is not behind the Remake.
Also MS Games Studios are not new to UE5, there are already games on that engine and more to follow.
There is no Remake, and there not a single Microsoft Game Studios working on Bethesda games.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
UE5 with gamebryo logic.
This is going to be one cursed abomination, if it even comes out at all.
It also has to be better then OG oblivion with mods and fixes which is a pretty high bar.

The dude, that takes scoops from others and claims that those are his information's, from his sources. Dude was busted by people multiple times, with easy baits.
Plot Twist: They're all guessing and no one knows anything. Believe it when you see it.
This game is not going to come out
