  1. i saw black first and i was like "are back to 2008?" Nope it a remaster. Well it looks good, the new one does not look as good but still great. Are we going back to mid to late 2000s after a decade of woke garbage? I sure hope so.

    1. Wouldn't this game be a remake. It's a whole new engine and shiny new graphics. Remasters are usually cash grabs, with few bugs ironed out, introducing new ones.

    1. IKR? Just look at all the late Zoomers & Alpha Gen kiddies getting excited over that trash that will unsurprisingly have some agenda secretly stuffed in it that will be revealed when it's released and everyone gets disappointed by how the actual gayme turned out. Spoilers to all kiddies out there, it's already a steaming POS from the trailers, it doesn't even need to actually release and blow up to prove that.

    1. probably both, but its a situation like MGS2 that they've shoved a gay a$$ character replacing snake for the majority of the game play, why changing the formula if its not broken is beyond me.

    1. Sigma is a re-release with a ton of changed stuff (most of it got the worst), not a remake.

This new one is an actual remake made in Unreal Engine 5 and is heavily based on Sigma with some influence of the original release.

I still don't understand why they won't give us the original, all that work put into this remake and they base it on the worse version.

  2. They are being (falsely) modest naming this one "a remaster", the engine, lighting, models, textures, materials, many animations, fluidity and even UI are completely replaced and not upscaled like legacy of kain, and they've announced it and released it at the same day, every other single studio would've hyped it up massively but they didn't. and its based on the gory black version unlike the gay a$$ sigma release. i like it, and i like it alot.
