Forest Reigns feature

Forest Reigns is a new survival FPS from former STALKER devs

VG Entertainment has announced a new story-driven survival FPS with RPG elements called Forest Reigns. For those who don’t know, VG Entertainment is made up of former STALKER and Survarium developers. So, if you are a fan of these games, you should definitely check this out.

According to the devs, this will be a solid single-player FPS with a twisted story, exploration, survival, role-playing elements, and an interactive environment.

The game promises a non-linear story with lots of missions. Players can either team up or compete with different in-game factions. Plus, every choice you make will affect how the story ends.

Forest Reigns will also have realistic weapon handling and tons of customizable gear. Oh, and you will be able to craft, scavenge, and loot your enemies or surroundings. So, pretty much what you’d expect from a new post-apocalyptic survival game.

The game seems to have some cool ideas. From the gameplay trailer, it’s clear that environmental interactivity is one of its main features. I just hope it focuses more on the story. From the description and trailer, it gives off major The Division vibes. That’s not a bad thing, but I’m hoping for a more “story-driven” experience.

Although there is no ETA for when it will come out, VG Entertainment has shared the game’s minimum PC requirements. And, as you will see, they appear to be quite high.

PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600XT. The game will also require 100GB of free disk space.

  1. i dont like survival / crafting games. Thr trailer doesnt show anything of that so im going to follow it.. its setting is Paris ?

  2. Stopped watching as soon as I saw weird bright colors and monsters.

I'm so tired of all these recent FPS with crazy saturated colors and weird monsters that look like they came out of a fever nightmare.
A LGBT nightmare, judging from the colors. For God's sakes, even the guy's explosion at 1:20 is turquoise blue… I guess that's what happens when you misgender STALKER devs?

I feel zero connection with this.
What is so difficult about making games in REALISTIC settings, where at least it looks believable?

Everything is just weird anyways in modern games.
Anyway, going back to play Giants – Citizen Kabuto.😊
