NexusMods ‘Koschei’ has shared a modlist that can overhaul the first Watch Dogs game. Koschei has merged a lot of mods to create the ultimate experience. And, if you’re thinking about replaying it, this is the perfect way to do it.
Ubisoft’s Watch_Dogs was one of the first games that was severely downgraded from its E3 demo. In retrospect, though, I believe a lot of players treated it harshly. Yes, Ubisoft made some dumb decisions. However, it wasn’t THAT bad of a game. At least in my opinion.
Anyway, this mod merges some of the most famous ones you can find for it. And yes, it includes the Source Textures Collection, The Fall of Windy City, and the Living City. You will also find the Enhanced Coat Physics, the Realistic Ragdolls + Lethal Takedown,s and the Enhanced Traffic Diversity mods.
In short, this mod will overhaul both graphics and gameplay mechanics. This is one of the best ways to experience it. So, go ahead and download it from this link.
The only downside is that the mod doesn’t work with the Nextgen Graphics Overhaul 2 mod. For those unaware, that mod recreated the E3 2012 gas station explosion. Below, you can find a video that showcases it. The mod also brought numerous improvements to the game’s graphics. And, in my opinion, it’s one of the must-have mods for it. So yeah, it’s kind of a bummer that it’s not compatible with modlist.
If you just want improved graphics, try using the Nextgen Graphics Overhaul 2 along with the Source Textures. But if you’re looking for both visual and gameplay upgrades, go for Koschei’s Brutalist Merge.

Cool, there are also mods to drastically change the driving mechanics and add ragdolls physics to pedestrians, both are game changers
Cool, I am yet to play the original, but have it in my library as a freebie. I enjoyed the 2nd one, but initially bounced off Legion (came with my GPU). I returned to Legion and managed to find a way of playing it so that I could enjoy it. Will check these mods out.
I played the first one but never had any interest in the sequels.
Watchdogs 1 is an underrated gem. Out of the three games released so far, this is the only one that I've completed multiple times. Even though the gameplay was eclipsed in the sequel, I still think this one has the best story. Also I relate to Aiden far more than I relate to Marcus.
