Deep Silver and Warhorse Studios have announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will now come out on February 4th. That’s a week earlier than its previous release date.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a first-person action RPG. In this game, players step into the shoes of Henry of Skalitz, a young man on a thrilling adventure. After his village is destroyed, Henry sets out on a quest for revenge, uncovering secrets, and seeking his true purpose. Starting as a simple blacksmith, he rises to face challenges that take him from his small town to the grand courts of kings. The game is set in 15th century Bohemia, a land torn apart by civil war, where Henry must navigate a world that is both beautiful and harsh.
Warhorse Studios stated that it will reveal the game’s official PC system requirements on December 5th. So, tomorrow, we’ll know what kind of PC you’ll need in order to run it.
We also know that it will support both NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR at launch. Moreover, the game will be powered by CRYENGINE. So, I’m curious to see it in action. Oh, and there is currently no word on whether or not it will support Ray Tracing.
In November 2024, Warhorse Studios stated that KC:D 2 will not use the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. This is great news as this might be a very CPU-heavy game. So, a DRM running behind it could introduce additional stutters.
Stay tuned for more!
Big news: Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will arrive at your homes on FEBRUARY 4TH 2025!⚔️
With the release date pushing one week forward, we have a bunch of more exciting news coming in the following days.

No-one-cares-about-raytracing.
Focus on the game.
Most games look better without ray tracing.
No,ray tracing makes games look better, but at a cost, high cost.
Path Tracing makes real improvements.
RayTraced Global illumination,Shadows and Ambient Oclussion make games look better,RayTraced Reflections make's reflective surfaces more accurate.
RTX2000,RTX3000 series were not ready for it,RTX4080/4090 are probably the first generation of GPU's that use Path and Ray tracing properly.
Don't compare console Ray Tracing with a PC Build with an RTX4090.
Take Alan wake 2 PS5Pro vs PC max settings or Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 vs Overdrive.
When RTX6000 series will be out,RayTracing will be optimzed.
Same way,Pixel Shader 3 and DX9 was not ready in 2005 and wasn't used at full potential.
Also don't confuse DX9.0a with DX9.0c.
I watched the rise of Pixel Shader 1 from Vexel and it was the same dispute.
First Ray Traced picture was created in 1968.
It took 50+ years,to render Ray Traced images with more than 30fps.
Disagree. I don't like raytracing or HDR.
As i said,is not yet ready(lack of powerfull GPU's and the ones that are capable are expensive,RTX4090 is the first card that use ray tracing as intended),but in few years Ray Tracing will be standard,no matter how some like.
Same way we went from pre-DX8(Vexel) to DX9/DX10/DX11 for Pixel Shader and tesselation(heavy on GPU's at the time)now to DX12(Ray Tracing and Path Tracing).
This generation is transition period.
I won't write more here, but if you want, you can do research and see that it was allways with games and gpu tech.
Or maybe, you don't like it beacuse 1 is to run games with ray tracing on a medium range PC with a RTX2080/RTX3060TI and another is to have a PC capable to max out settings and an expensive 4K Monitor.
1000$PC vs 3000$ PC.
Cyberpunk in overdrive looks amazing,Alan Wake 2 max settings looks the best,Control also,Metro Exodus enhanced with max settings also.
Ray Tracing is the opus of gaming, few can afford it,now and is also poorly implemented in some games.
Metro Exodus looks better without it.
That is your opinion, but i played the original 2019 on PS4Pro and later the PS5 enhaced edition and it looks much better.
Global Illumination and Ambient Occlusion change everything.
We are far from Real Life light bounce but Path Tracing is trying.
Ray Tracing is not Atmospheric.
Reality is bland…during summer, pay atention during mid day on how shadows are casted(you can see everything, even in the shadows not atmospheric at all).
A week makes no difference why this is some story is just clickbait etc They'd be better off keeping it original and doing more QC for that week. With how the first game was and still is they'd probably be better off self mandating a couple of extra months JUST for qc work and such.
They move it to avoid stacked competition during OG week more than having anything to do with technical or optimization issue, if I had to bet.
And they keep… delivering!
Denuvo is DEAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
