STALKER 2 Bloodsucker

First STALKER 2 Mods bring unlimited carry weight and make Bloodsuckers and Poltergeists less tanky

GSC GameWorld released STALKER 2 yesterday, and the first mods for it have appeared online. So, in this article, we’ll focus on the ones that bring improvements to its gameplay mechanics. So, let’s see what’s in store for you stalkers.

The first mod will address the criticism about the game’s low carry weight limit. By using it, you will be able to get unlimited carry weight. As such, you will be able to carry all the weapons you encounter in the game. In my opinion, this takes away a cool aspect of the game. Still, I know that some players want to simply loot everything they can find. So, if you are more of a loot player, you can use it to make the game feel closer to a looter shooter (at least when it comes to how its inventory works).

The second mod will make the Bloodsuckers and Poltergeists less tanky. This was another issue that annoyed some players. For whatever reason, GSC GameWorld increased the health of the Bloodsuckers and Poltergeists, making their fights feel a bit boring. By using this mod, you will reduce their health by 4 times. Thus, it will be easier to kill them, save ammo, and have less boring encounters with them.

You can download these two mods from here and here, respectively.

There are also some other “performance” mods, but most of them are just different config files. In my experience, these configs never worked in any UE game. I’ve tried some mods in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Hogwarts Legacy and Silent Hill 2 Remake. In all these titles, none of them worked. None of them reduced the stutters. So, no. You won’t be able to somehow fix the game with a simple Engine.ini file.

Finally, make sure to read our PC Performance Analysis for STALKER 2.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. Eh… Wouldn't a simple trainer solve that issue?
And I agree with you, John. People just want to play a COD-like shooter in every game they find.
    >Buys Crash Bandicoot
    >Installs mods to make it play like Flight Simulator

    1. The new generation must have,"X-Ray Vision",Big Marker (You go here) in addition to a visable "trail" as to witch route to take, constant reminders as to witch combination of keys they can use to do a specific thing/combo etc…God forbid the devs make the user open up a map and figure stuff on their own…That is the standard in todays "Games"

  2. The og trilogy if I remember correctly, had 50kg weight limit. So this game essentially casualized and it's still not enough for newcomers. They wanna play it like far cry and borderlands.

  3. I don't know what's the point playing the game with unlimited carry weight mod. Inventory management is a crucial part of the gameplay.

    1. homosexuals don't like it, I don't mean it as an insult.
homosexual reviewers from ign, gamespont and other sites like this always compain about carrying capacity in rpgs (fallout 4, baldur's gate, wateland, skyrim and etc).

      1. Or, maybe some people just don't want to deal with the stupidity of it and play the game the way they want too. Gee, what a concept!!

          1. Now i didnt want to insult you but since you went down that path let's have it bub.

3 ppl disagreed with you while none with me, which begs the question: can you not see the "close-minded" individual that you are?
Furthermore, I'm not blinkered or narrow-minded, I'm just competitive and I seek a good challenge any day.
If the devs over the years have kept certain features it's because there's demand and amasses to the overall immersion of a/the game.

Not that a narrow-minded illiterate idiot like you would understand. Consider yourself ignored past this point.

            Over and out c**t.

          2. You are still closeminded and full of it. You think everyone should play the game the way you think it should be, news flash Id10t people play games to enjoy them, so who are you to disagree with their choices? I guess you think your the gaming monitor and everyone should bow down to your lame ideology. Get a life and grow up. Its not up to you or anyone else to disagree with how people want to play their games. So get over it.

          3. Newsflash for you r**ard, why don't you take the experience devs intended for and try to change everything to suit what you want. Do you do that with movies or books ? Oh you can't. The game is intended to be like this, it's all intertwined. If you can carry everything the game breaks. Gamma makes things much harder for stalker 1 and it's considered the best "mod" for s1. The stalker community that has been involved with these games for 22 years want a game for their tastes not for it to be watered down for people who have no history with the games.

          4. You are delusional asf!!! good luck living in denial and in that screwed up world you have enclosed yourself in. And your now blocked, so don't bother responding!!

  4. The og trilogy if I remember correctly, had 50kg weight limit. So this game essentially casualized and it's still not enough for newcomers. They wanna play it like far cry and borderlands.

It seems I struck up some nerve with my unreal engine criticism, I am banned (2024-11-26). Maybe I was right. Maybe john is indeed paid by epic to only promote positivity about unreal stutter c*ap engine.

        1. Well the weapon degradation is insane and the repair costs are through the roof. I guess people want to compensate those costs by taking as much loot as possible and then selling it.

  5. These mods are for losers who don't understand what stalker wants to give them. Why not make mods that make elden ring monsters and bosses have 1/4 health. Why would you be able to carry 30 weapons on you ? The weight limit is 80kg, how much can you carry and not be able to move much ?
    mods for the p**sy generations
