Sad Cat Studios has announced that its 2.5D sci-fi retro-futuristic action platformer, REPLACED, has been delayed until 2025. Thankfully, though, we now have a new 13-minute gameplay video from it.
— REPLACED (@REPLACEDGame) August 13, 2024
REPLACED will be focusing on a single-player experience. So yeah, this is a game for all our single-player fans. In this game, players will explore and uncover the game’s mysteries as R.E.A.C.H. who is beginning to understand that everything comes at a price.
In this video, director Yura Zhdanovich walks you through three different gameplay segments. This is the most we’ve seen from this platformer. So, if you are a fan of this genre, I suggest watching the video.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Looks lovely. Without the combat it would be even better.
is this the game that ripped of the last night game?
If you're talking specifically about the art style, there's already a bunch of these 2.5D pixel art games in the works. This, Neon Blood and Yes, Your Grace: Snowfall are some of the notable ones.
Whether or not this game ends up being too derivative of The Last Night wouldn't matter all that much since that game appears to be in development hell and may not come out any time soon. They've left that opportunity open for any imitators to fill that void. Kinda like how Unrecord was the first to show off the whole body camera technique yet games like Bodycam got ahead of them with their release.
some real special art in that
this is game # 52727262862 this week alone that has been postponed to 2025.. and im still not mad.
But Scamcitizen ? That game triggers me every second.
