Universal and Saber Interactive have released the first in-game screenshots for their upcoming JP game, Jurassic Park: Survival. So, let’s take a look at them, shall we?
These screenshots are from an alpha build. As such, they do not represent the quality of the final product. Still, they can give you an idea of the game’s art style and art direction.
The first screenshot focuses on the Raptors, whereas the second screenshot has the T-Rex out of focus. Finally, the third screenshot gives us a glimpse at Mr. DNA.
Jurassic Park: Survival will be a single-player action-adventure game. The game will take place one day after the events of the 1993 movie. Players will assume the role of InGen scientist Maya Joshi.
My guess is that Saber will create a semi-open-world island for us to explore. That’s the feeling I got from the announcement trailer. They might also recreate famous places from the movie, like the Visitor’s Center and the T-Rex paddock.
From what we know, Jurassic Park Survival won’t come out in 2024. So, we are most likely looking at a 2025 release.
And… well… that’s it. Universal hasn’t shared any additional details about it or a new gameplay/in-game trailer. And, since there isn’t any ETA on when it will come out, we can assume that it will be a while until we get a gameplay trailer for it. Let’s at least hope that we’ll get something at Gamescom 2024.

Why are the 3 raptors outside at night when in the movie they go free once they reset the park security in the middle of the day? did the developers never watch the movie?
The game takes place one after the events of the movie, so it makes perfect sense to see the raptors at night.
Also, you'll encounter the raptors that were born in the wild (the ones that had a nest which Grant found with Lex and Tim).
Two raptors died by the Rex, and one is missing…so those can't be.
I guess they can pull the wild raptors sure…which happen to be 3 like in the movie.
It's just. I've been waiting for this and Dino Crisis remakes my whole life.

Are you referring to the rough sketches on reddit? The ones featuring a generic humanoid shaped figure for scale? That were concepts for a PS2 game from an entirely different developer that was canceled? If so, you guys are extra sad and really reaching for any reason to complain about a girl being in a game…
Also, concept art, unless it is SPECIFICALLY character art, is generally meant to serve as a proposal of potential mood and general world/art design. Not specifically indicate what will or will not be present in a game. Concecpt artists generally contribute little to nothing in game design beyond providing those sketches that are then used as inspiration for those that actually build the game.
