Capcom has just released the first gameplay trailer for the next main Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter Wilds. This trailer will give your first look at some of the environments, characters and monsters of this new MH game.
According to the game’s description, players will experience the pinnacle of excellence in hunting action gameplay in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Capcom has not clarified the engine that it will be using for this new MH game. While Monster Hunter World used Unreal Engine, Monster Hunter Rise used the MT Framework. So, my guess is that Monster Hunter Wilds will be powered by the REX Engine? At least that’s the logical assumption.
Capcom will release Monster Hunter Wilds in 2025. However, there is currently no specific ETA on when it will come out. Capcom hasn’t also shared any PC system requirements.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

I am concerned about that, seeing how badly Dragon's Dogma 2 performed.
I want to believe it was a problem exclusive to Dragon's Dogma 2 because every other RE Engine game like modern Resident Evil Series, DMC5 and Exoprimal run amazingly including MH Rise/Sunbreak.
man, i was sad when they revealed that rise/sunbreak had become the X version of the series, its so much more fun than regular monster hunter. I really hope they add the additional moves and fun stuff from rise and X in this release.
Thankfully they won't. You can keep your ADHD game mechanics on the Switch ,where they belong.
what adhd mechanics? rise and sunbreak are on all major platforms.
Hype for more MonHun but I hope they keep some of the mechanics from Rise. My friend told me that Rise and Sunbreak were technically side games so a lot of the features won't return which is sad. Hopefully they fix that this this entry.
What is up with MH games and such dumb looking characters?
I think its part of the aesthetic. Enough people like the designs or arent bothered enough to make a stink about it since everyone spends most of their time in armor fighting giant monsters.
