Where Winds Meet feature-2

Where Winds Meet PC Closed Beta begins on April 19th

Everstone Games has announced that the first PC closed beta testing for Where Winds Meet will begin on April 19th. To celebrate this announcement, the team also shared a new gameplay trailer that you can find below.

Where Winds Meet is a new third-person open-world game featuring action, adventure, and martial arts. From what I’ve seen, this feels like a mix between Ghost of Tsushima and Assassin’s Creed. So yeah, I’m kind of excited about it.

In this game, players will assume the role of a hero forged in a time of chaos, exploring the way of chivalry on an unknown path dominated by blade and blood. Players will be able to broaden their experience to increase their chances of survival. For instance, they could choose to be a doctor saving lives in the chaotic world, a merchant accumulating wealth, or play as an NPC traveling the ancient Kaifeng City.

Combat in Where Winds Meet will be a key part, with Wuxia skills, attacks, and counterattacks playing a major role. You’ll be able to even use a Tai chi skill to turn the enemy’s attacks back onto himself. According to the devs, you’ll have the freedom to define your combat style.

The game also promises to pack a free construction system with 600 authentic antique components and an environment system. These will allow players to interact with the whole world. Oh, and since this is an open-world title, you can expect to enjoy some beautiful wide vistas.

There is currently no ETA on when this game will come out. Not only that, but we don’t even know whether it will hit Steam or not. Right now, there aren’t any EGS and Steam pages for it. So, that’s kind of bizarre for a game that will soon have its first Closed Beta Testing.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

    That so f*kin’ stupid

  2. Believe it or not I’m now excited for any games made in the east. Watching “Stellar Blade” act as a holy water to banish western demons of the industry is such a wonderful sight to behold. Playstation should continue this trend in future.

    1. I’m now excited for any games made in the east. Banish western demons.

      “Banish Western demons”?

Instead of buying games because of good gameplay, you guys are throwing money at virtual prostitutes like onlyfans simps. The game isn’t even out yet, hasn’t been reviewed, and you’re already wh0ring yourself out to defend it.

          1. game is very very good, optimalization sucks but they already fixed a lot of it, my friend plays it on 2070S gets 56FPS outside City and 50FPS in city in 2k and mid-high settings so it works like any other game. Also people that have actual gaming PCs had no issues anyway, i got 120FPS in native 4k outside of cities and 60-80FPS in city.

I take sh**ty Japanese port over any triple A western garbage anyday, go play spiderman 2 but black and rainbow, cuck of war, or last of us steroid lesbian monster edition.

      1. Stellar Blade has demo, its absolutely amazing, mix or DMC and Nier. Also Where Winds Meet is Wuxia game, it has nothing to do with Japan or Anime, you would know that if not for the fact you are just another uneducated insecure western crybaby. Go back playing last of us or CoD kid.

    2. Journalists are really out to get Stellar Blade. Reminds me exactly how they acted toward Hogwarts Legacy.

  3. there are so many of these games lately that i thought it was that other assasin creed clone by team ninja on ps5.

    1. its nothing like them, its wuxia game and we had 0 wuxia high quality games. Just because something is open world it doesn’t mean its like every other game.

    1. I wonder how many gamers would have bothered to pirate that turd game anyway. They probably lost a few sales from people that detest Denuvo and won’t buy it until it’s removed as well.

    2. cracking old versions of denuvo is easier than new ones. No idea what happened and empress gave up, but i find it hard to care about any new game, nor i got the super hardware to run it.

  4. Your blog is a constant source of inspiration for me. Your passion for your subject matter is palpable, and it’s clear that you pour your heart and soul into every post. Keep up the incredible work!
