NACON has just announced Greedfall 2 The Dying World, and shared a CG trailer for it. Greedfall 2 will be coming to Steam Early Access in Summer 2024, and below you can find its first official details.
This time you play as a native of Teer Fradee. In the sequel, players will experience an even deeper RPG experience. Players will find their freedom, explore the old continent and forge their destiny through alliances, scheming and battles.
Spiders claims that every choice will have an impact on your adventure. As such, diplomacy, manipulation, infiltration and combat will all be viable paths for you to achieve your aims.
Players will be able to create their own characters and find allies to join their team. You’ll be able to help them with their quests, uncover their secrets and make them your friends, rivals or even lovers. As well as equipping them the way you want, you can also take control of them in combat.
Sadly, NACON hasn’t shared any in-game screenshots. And, as I said, this first trailer is CG. Plus, the publisher hasn’t shared the game’s PC requirements.
Since Greedfall 2 will hit Steam Early Access in Summer 2024, you’d expect to see something more than a CG trailer.

Seriously, WTF was that goofy escape/fight sequence? I get it’s a fantasy game and all, but they just use “fantasy” or “fiction” these days to take absolutely ridiculous liberties and also use it as an excuse for bad and lazy writing/directing.
and its so formulaic too.
Greedfall was fun, though I did think it got a bit repetitive in the later hours. I hope this one turns out well.

Woke, but not how you might expect. From what I heard from those willing to endure the brain rot, there was no racism or slavery – it was illegal and entirely absent in the colonies. Instead, it focused on the evil of religion and industrialism when not jerking off over tree-hugging pseudo-Celts and their simple existence.
This one seems set to correct this grave error. With a stunning and brave protagonist and muh diversity, I doubt they’ll pass up the opportunity.

There was racism and slavery in the first game. It was said clearly that other factions were on bad terms with natives and slavery happened. But you didnt experience it in your faction because you were mechants and story was not about it.

Also the trailer is cgi bs so dont expect to explore that absolutely massive city but it was important they made her look like that and have a “diverse” party. What kinda setting is this anyway? The “natives” are well equipped and the colonialists are knight musket-teers. Are those even muskets or breach lock weapons? Oh and early access? REALLY? REALLY?
