It appears that Naughty Dog was, at one point, working on a remake for the first Uncharted game, Uncharted Drake Fortune. And, earlier today, X’s member ‘Speclizer’ provided some proof of this.
Speclizer has discovered some references to the Uncharted Drake Fortune Remake in The Last of Us Part 2. For instance, there was a level definition referencing the plane crash scene in U1.

There was also a state script named “ss-cin-seaplane-animated-bg.bin” for the plane crash scene that is built to run on the latest ND engine.

Now I’m not saying that this project is still in development. For all we know, Sony and Naughty Dog may have put it on hold (or even canceled it). After all, these references were included in the 2020 build of TLOU2. So yes, at one point, ND was indeed working on it.
Recent rumors suggested that Sony was working on remakes of the first three Uncharted games for PS5 and PC. And, since we’ve never gotten the first three Uncharted games on PC, I’d welcome these remakes. Still, I couldn’t find any credible sources of this recent rumor. So, as with all rumors, I’d suggest taking this with a grain of salt.
To be honest, I was expecting Sony to first release Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection on PC. That would make more sense. Instead, we got the UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
In case you’re wondering, no. Apart from those references, nothing else has been leaked. In other words, there haven’t been any leaked videos or screenshots. And if you find some online, they are most likely fake.

Well truth be told Uncharted 1 is kinda dated at this point, U2 and onwards is fine.
HOWEVER given the current state of the gaming industry, I’d say leave the games alone as well.
They could easily release the drake collection on pc but they won’t
Bluepoint did a pretty good job with the PS4 remaster back in the days. All they need to do is work with ND and whichever team that does PS to PC ports (I think it’s Nixxes) for a few months to a year to optimize and implement standard PC features, and bam, easy money. It’d be nice if they included the multiplayer and co-op levels too that were missing from the PS4 collection. Uncharted 2 multiplayer was some of the most online fun I had back in the PS3 generation.

Too early, still incredibly demanding on the CPU, the PS4 collection is overall better visually (Better textures, models, lighting) and Uncharted 1 got the gameplay improvements of Uncharted 2-3.
RPCS3 could be an option in the future but for now there’s still hope for the TND Collection port, with the official announcement of Until Dawn on PC and some rumors talking about a port of Infamous Second Son, i think Sony is still open to remaster older PS4 games for the PS5 and port them on PC all along
thats fair, hopefully with the ps4 emulator coming along Sony tries to get some of the bigger titles on PC to beat them to the punch.
Excuse me, but that has become a myth about RPCS3 at this point.
I mean, RPCS3 can run lighter games with playable framerates on the SteamDeck, which only has a 15 Watts AMD Zen 2 APU, shared with the RDNA2 iGPU on top of that.
If you can’t get playable framerates with much faster dedicated CPUs, there must be a software issue somewhere on your PC…
I’m mainly talking about heavy titles, i know there is a large catalogue of playable games but even on the RPCS3 wiki GoW3 isn’t considered playable yet due to really high CPU requirements, same for Uncharted series, Killzone, Infamous… So no it’s not a myth

Note that at least Uncharted 1 already works flawlessly with RPCS3, so no need to wait for a potentially altered remaster.
Didn’t find the time yet for the sequels, however I plan to at least look into how the second part performs on my PC via RPCS3.
I think it’s cheaper to release the last versions on pc due to less work needed for compatibility and the lesser need to remaster for the current pc capabilities. Older games require a lot more work and cost to port over. Just dumping an emulation version into the pc like konami did and a mobile port of the GTA series doesn’t work too well and require more patches and such. So you get cost priority tradeoff there, is the cost best used on a new game or remakemaster of an old game? They probably looked at it but decided not worth the cost. I wasn’t too impressed with the last port and forcing 3 games at once when one at a time would have been better. Movie games imo only got through a few hours of whichever one I played there, gone.
That’s my impression as well. With some old games it’s too much to be worth the trouble financially to port the games to PC.
i.e. that’s the reason Rockstar has given for no PC port of the first RDR. I’m not a programmer and I don’t know if it’s true or just Rockstar blowing more smoke up PC gamer’s a*s holes.

In terms of code I’ll make no comment, cause would be baseless assumptions without access to RDR code.
Yeah even less excuse for rs with the gtao money printer but makes no difference to shysters who covet shekels no matter how bulging their vaults are. Even if they just did the work that was done on rdr1 for the switch version for a native pc game nothing else that would at least have opened it up to modders etc to upscale it and such but nope. In RDR2 map NA is wasted mostly and seems like it was setup for an rdr1 add on, almost total waste for sp mode other than just wandering. Ryujinx rdr1 emu is more intensive to run than native pc rdr2 by far for me. I just replayed silent hill 2 DC w the enhanced ed and it was great.
I wouldn’t mind the trilogy coming to PC. The actual state of RPCS3 running them is not optimal, but time will tell.
That entire trilogy is overrated as hell, mediocre shooters with bland, cliche-ridden stories through and through.

Seriously i don’t know what’s appealing in this series, they’re all generic shooters, with generic art style, and heavily consolized mechanics, i can understand Sony fanboys who beat their meat to this because they’re ignorant and dumb but a guy on PC can play far better shooters even on a Win95 machine, it’s not even a good shooter among console shooters.
And before you ask, yes i played KZ1 and 2 and even the top-down shooter on PSP, i missed 3 and Shadowfall but that was enough
