Now here is something interesting. STRIVE STUDIOS has shared a new short gameplay video from its upcoming third-person action game, ENENRA. ENENRA feels like a “Batman: Arkham Knight with blades” game, set in a cyberpunk world and powered by Unreal Engine 5. So, make sure to watch the video after the jump.

ENENRA’s combat system will aim to bridge the gap between a free flow multi-target system and a focused single-target lock-on system. According to the devs, this will allow free movement and the ability to attack multiple targets. Players will be able to quickly switch focus to a single target allowing for a variety of attacks including aerial combat, executions and targeted abilities.
Check out this other, and a bit older, gameplay video of ENENRA. And, since I recently replayed Batman: Arkham City and Arkham Knight, I got major “Batman” vibes from it. The camera angles during the finishing moves and the way the main character gets close to enemies remind me a lot of Batman Arkham.
Players will also have at their disposal three stances. These will grant them different move lists which include BLADE MASTER, the jack of all trades stance that gives the player a variety of base moves, RANGED SHIFT, which grants the player close to medium ranged attacks and IRON WALL which is a high-risk/high-reward stance focused on counter play. On top of the stances, you will also have access to five variations of Katanas.
I personally liked everything I saw in these two trailers. Yes, this is an indie game and it may be rough around the edges. However, this is a game most Batman Arkham fans will find interesting. Especially now that Rocksteady focuses on generic GaaS games.
Lastly, there is currently no ETA on when ENENRA will come out. As always, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

i love that this is like a 2008 japanesse edgy game.
what the next Metal Gear Rising should resemble
John being a weeb as usual, and sucking up to anything that ch*nks make.
Once upon a time I used to get excited by hearing about coming out useing the unreal engine. Now all I feel is “oh great, another game that will be potenially infested with ‘epic online services’….”
I hear unreal engine now, and I think great another stutter filled mess.
Interesting, which game with UE were stuttery, I would be interested to see if I have played any of those games so I can compare etc.
remnant II was the last one I played.
Interesting I never noticed any stutter with that game.
They shouldn’t have a sword so pointy. That much dismembering is scary.
In the actual combat footage I’m not seeing any dismemberment. Seems like that only existed for the dramatic entrance after the cutscene? Strange.
in what f ing way does in look like Arkham Knight like game? looks more like Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry.
This is more like Ninja Blade. C’mon man stop with the Batman comparisons, it’s lazy. All of you use the sand 2-3 games to Categorize every other game and it’s not right. This game is more fast paced and have easy more move sets going for it.
Hi my loved one! I wish to say that this post is amazing, nice written and include approximately all vital infos. I’d like to peer more posts like this.
It look’s a lot closer to Ninja Gaiden than arkham night.
I have read some excellent stuff here Definitely value bookmarking for revisiting I wonder how much effort you put to make the sort of excellent informative website
The camera is a problem. It keeps framing for “cinematic” purposes in ways that cause you to lose track of the action, including enemies close to you. It’s style over substance and makes me question the developers’ mission statement.
Somebody essentially help to make significantly articles Id state This is the first time I frequented your web page and up to now I surprised with the research you made to make this actual post incredible Fantastic job
