The Closed Alpha Testing for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is underway. And guess what? Sneak peek gameplay videos are floating around the Net. Yeap, to the surprise of no one, some participants have leaked gameplay videos from it.
Warner Bros has been doing its best to take down the videos from YouTube. However, people have started uploading them on Fileditch and Gofile. And, for some reason, these videos are still up.
In total, you can find over 30 minutes of leaked gameplay footage from this Closed Alpha Testing. Those interested can watch the videos here and here. There is also another leaked video that shows all of the skills.
As always, we won’t be hosting any videos on our server. So, if Warner Bros wants to remove these videos, they’ll have to head over to Gofile and Fileditch.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a Games as a Service (GaaS) game. The game appears to rely heavily on weapons, and won’t be focusing on melee combat like the Batman: Arkham games. I’ve already said it feels like a new Marvel’s Avengers game. And, these leaked gameplay videos are strengthening that assumption.
Suicide Squad: Kills the Justice League will be released on February 2nd, 2024. You can also find here its PC requirements. Also, according to reports, the game will have Ray Tracing effects. For what it’s worth, Rocksteady has not revealed anything official yet. However, reports from the Closed Alpha suggest that it does have a Ray Tracing setting.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

tested the game and its ok, i will not play it but i can imagine people liking it
How is this game solo compared to coop?
When playing solo, you get bots, they can make the job done.
You can make solo private session, friends only, open etc.
Also even for solo play you need to be online.
ok gameplay, boring and repetitive missions (as espected). The npcs follow you all the time so the only thing that will change in co op is your friends company.
Thats one madafakin ugly Margo Robbie!
I got invited for the closed alpha been playing it since yesterday, there’s a funny thing where they mention Deadshot’s skin color, as in “I thought you were white?”, when that was said by one of the characters I was kinda thrown off by it, I know people critized deadshot being black now instead of white, since its a continuation of the arkham-verse.. however, what’s super odd is the fact that not long after you see a ‘poster’ of Deadshot as a white guy… lol.. I find it so bizarre..
Gameplay wise: I absolutely hate it, its atrocious, the left mouse button is basically either melee or stun (depending on the char you play). FPS drops happen randomly, according to the default settings im suppose to play the game on ‘high’ or ‘very high’ graphic settings… even lowering it has no effect… This demo gameplay scene that was also on YouTube, where you get captured by green lantern, you go automatically from 60+ fps to 19 fps, whilst nothing changed, its an in-game cut-scene.. really weird.
Deadshot is the best character to play imho… He has a jetpack, although this thing runs out of steam quite fast, you can hit CTRL to reset it and buy yourself some extra time by boosting yourself further… he has two weapons, my favorite is the sniper the other one is a standard bullet spray gun that basically any game has these days.
King shark has melee but it feels super clunky
Captain Boomerang only uses his boomerang to speed boost / teleport to any location you throw it at.. his Right mouse button is ‘lock target and shoot’..
Harley Quinn: has a drone in which she can traverse and leap over buildings. Harley has her baseball (thus melee).
You also have a talent tree and cosmetics, you can swap colors and what not.. Not really my cup of tea (the latter). I didnt even touch the talent tree tbh, I just went thorugh the game without touching it once. and i playing it on hard mode.
When your character ‘dies’ your teammates can revive you, so you practically can’t die unless the AI (your team) goes down at the same time, so a ‘permadeath’ run for a twitch livestreamer should be easy for anyone attempting it..
Story-wise: The characters have some decent moments..
One section I enjoyed thus far:
There’s a particular ‘section’ with Batman that I thought was quite well done…
There is definitely some Rocksteady in there.. But I can guarantee you, apart from the story? This game is gonna be a mixed bag or gets mostly negative steam reviews… it feels unpolished, and the gameplay is just close to horrible..
all in all if I had to rate it? 5/10, and than im putting 4 points in story and 1 point in humor. That’s my two cents on it.
Thanks for the critique of your experience. I generally wouldn’t expect top performance with an alpha build of a game. But also any games that release in a polished state are a rare bonus these days, it seems.
I can’t understand why some kn*b would think it’s a profitable idea going for a Marvel’s Avengers + Fortnite type of game. I suppose a few kids bored of Fortnite might check it out.
I wouldn’t touch it anyways, being GaaS, but sometimes it’s nice to just enjoy the ambiance of the dumpster fires.
Interesting, there’s a poster of Deadshot in the Arkham games… and he is white? I don’t remember that at all, lol And it’s funny how you hated the gameplay, but had some enjoyment with the characters… for me it’s the complete inverse, the gameplay looks fun, the characters are annoying. I guess this will be the narrative with this game, people are going to be divided, the game will be considered a 6, maybe a 7 out of 10 if you are gentle, then it’s going to be forgotten in like a month. It’s the Avengers all over again, waste of money, also wasting the Justice League, the last performance of Conroy as Batman, etc.. the industry chasing trend$ instead of developing in a more natural way, capitalism is just beautiful smh
Capitalism is what allows you to play videogames in the first place.
Played it for 2 hours.
I love looter shooter games but this just aint it.
It just made me feel bored.
At this point im just interested in the story, and for that il just wait for someone to make a video on it with just the story cutscenes.
i hate looter shooters so i dont know how to take this.
Another Saints Row reboot bomb walking. Oh, well its their money. What happened to the Batman game makers, making this silly hero shooter??.
turns out originally it was supposed to be a sequel to the old saints row games but the publisher deepsilver made them change it.
Saints Row yes, but what the hell happened to the Batman game devs (Rocksteady ?) Nobody wants these hero shooters trash anymore and quite frankly it looks like something Ubisoft made!
focus group corporate suits told them this will sell.
You forgot the word clueless there somewhere 🙂 Most other company’s clueless suits aim for GWGB so let’s do it too – We don’t want to do better than the rest that tried the concept and failed!
They were making a Superman game, but Warner Bros f*ked them so hard that it turned into this and the founders left.
yukkers freakazoids the game, that “woman” is a frankenzilla, actually whole image looks like an espn sports talking heads panel lol And I thought maybe they’d try to be a bit more original with the obnoxious dates, 2224 is very low hanging fruit. 11124, 1-12-24, etc probably “push it (out)back” to 2-22-24, 22224, this year isn’t as good for 3-3-24 like 23 was. 2-12-24 idk Dumpster fire though.
On top of Always Online DRM, the game also uses:
Denuvo DRM, Easy Anti-Cheat and Epic Online Services.
Game does quick shader compilation, but there are still stutters, from creating shaders (?)
There is no DLSS, FSR, XeSS support yet, the internal render resolution scale is done poorly, with no settings to tweak.
RT has been disabled/not added, graphics settings are very limited, the same goes to PC input settings.
So far the game is locked to 60fps even with v-sync disabled or fps limiter set to off or above 60fps, the max value is 120fps.
On Ryzen 3600@4.0GHz, 16GB RAM and OC’ed GTX 1080, the game keeps rock solid 60fps, with settings set like this:
Shadows – High
Detail – High
Textures – Ultra (someone optimized VRAM usage, gg)
Volumetric Fog – LOW.
Sometimes that 60fps feels weird, so there are some frame pacing issues.
Shark dude is a nice guy… Sorry, Fish.
Please, don’t cancel me Fish People.
What happened to RockSteady? They made three excellent Batman games and now they are working on this turd?
What happens to all studios when they get big.
True..
Basically, all the creatives that made those Batman games left along with the two founders. It’s essentially not the same studio anymore.
That explains a lot. Not gonna bother with this “Warn a Brother” release.
Enemies do not look very challenging. People who enjoy playing Fortnite will probably enjoy playing this game despite what I think of it. It could end up being successful for that reason alone.
Maybe, it has some Fortnite “vibes” indeed. But it reaches the “comfy game” conundrum: if the Fortnite player is already accommodated with Fortnite, why even bother with something else? That’s why this “game as a service” trend is so weird and dislocated, the public already have their comfy games, it’s a hostile environment, highly competitive
It looks alright. The bantering is the most annoying aspect, the Suicide Squad is a good idea on paper, but the characters sucks, they are so annoying. But to be fair, the Guardians of the Galaxy game also looked terrible before release, so maybe SS can be decent. But at this current state, a decent game, like a 6 or a 7 out of 10, it’s just not enough for me in particular, limited time (and money) to play every game available. For 2024, ReFantazio, Horizon 2 and Last of Us 2… they look interesting (especially ReFantazio, this game has potential to be the best jrpg ever), then we can finally have Silksong, a port of Ghost of Tsushima… so really, why even bother with average games
