A lot of racing fans were disappointed with the Xbox Showcase trailer of Forza Motorsport. This trailer did not feature any gameplay sequences at all, something that puzzled a lot of Forza fans. Thankfully, though, we now have a video that shows off six minutes of proper gameplay footage from it.
As Turn10 noted, this gameplay is from a pre-release build, and it does not represent the quality of the final game. The game was also running on Xbox Series X, meaning that it did not have any ray-traced global illumination effects.
Forza Motorsport will feature over 500 real-world cars at launch. Moreover, the game will pack more than 800 unique upgrades and custom modifications. Not only that, but the game will start with 20 environments featuring multiple track layouts for players to master.
Turn10 Studios was able to depict 10 times more realistic detail including highly detailed vegetation and overgrowth. Additionally, this new Forza Motorsport will include tens of thousands of fully animated 3D spectators.
It’s also worth noting that the game will have dynamic time of day with weather including track temperatures, wet driving surfaces and rubbering in for each track.
Microsoft will release Forza Motorsport on October 10th!

FM7 could run 4k60 on a 1060 iirc. I have high hopes for this one.
“AI, Physics, AI, Tire Model, AI, Fidelity, Simulation, Accurate, AI, AI, AI, AI”
Even the narrator is an AI voice.
Do these Microsoft nerds even know why people play games anymore? To HAVE FUN!
Forza Motorspot looks like a car nerd spec sheet. The Crew Motorfest looks like a fun game.
Go play Forza Horizon if you want that, this is trying to compete with games like Gran Turismo not The Crew
this junk isn’t coming any where close to GT7 lmao
Lol this is so delusional, GT4 is the latest good GT, all what came after was clearly inferior to Forza Motorsport in practically all aspects
Yeah, you’re kinda right… GT7 competes with Forza 4.
Stupid comparison, stupid statement, you’re either a child or just genuinely ignorant to complain about a simulation being a simulation and not your average colorful arcade game with douchy tuning elements and rap music
Just plain stüpid. You can be sure of that.
Mmmm maybe it’s the youtube compression ruining the road textures and grass, but it looks not as “next-gen” as I hoped in actual gameplay. They definitely made some sacrifices to get it running at native 4K and 60fps on the XSX. Here’s hoping the PC version looks better than the console one.
Meanwhile, on GT7 we have MUSIC RALLY!
This is really interesting, You’re a very skilled blogger. I’ve joined your feed and look forward to seeking more of your magnificent post. Also, I’ve shared your site in my social networks!
If they want to call this shït a simulator, they should at least aknowledge that a “look to apex” cockpit view would be the very basics for driving in a simulator. This fücking gopro view is disgusting and stüpid.
Even though I was waiting for this game, I won’t touch this cräp until there’s a fix to that. Fücking lazy sons of bïtches of devs!
The level looks boring and the graphics look gawd awful. wtf is this.
