NACON has just announced a new RoboCop game, called RoboCop: Rogue City. In order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher released a teaser trailer that you can find below.
In this game, you’ll become the iconic hero whose part man, part machine, all cop. As such, players will attempt to bring justice to the dangerous, crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit.
NACON and Teyon will work with MGM to develop an authentic RoboCop game experience that is faithful to the franchise’s DNA, while immersing gamers in an original story that enables them to play as none other than RoboCop himself.
The game currently targets a 2023 release date on consoles and PC.

Yeah, that game was the best tribute to Terminator since Terminator 2.
I played a Robocop game on the Nes or Snes platform, hard as fck when I was a kid.
I think a more forgiving platformer would’ve been nice.

ah it will be good then because terminator resistance was really good, sad they dont make a sequel to that game. Seriously though resistance had no pozz in it and it had manly heavy metal music and 2 sx scenes.

Uff that’s a low bar. On the positive side, the people making it are not idiotic enough to base the game in the remake, they are doing the OG design at least.
Indeed, the original is a classic…there’s no CGI that can come close, even when the suit was made of plastic.
i didnt even get mad about that remake, it was so “meh” i couldnt even bother to get mad about it.
say no to open world kids (say no to drugs joke) they are boring and empty making a game in a smaller scale with nonlinear areas is much better.
no way you played that one? It was god awful. No saving so if you die you start the whole level, endless enemy spawning, later missions are awful, no just no. I mean since this is made by the studio who made terminator resistance if you play the infiltrator dlc, you can kinda see robocop in there. So they are half way there making a robocop game.
after Robocop i want them to make a game in demolition man or total recall setting, even though chaser another game made in poland is kinda inspired by total recall….then a starship troopers game.
who isnt, but the monster spawn in the game will be insane. It will turn out like that warhammer deathwing game.

As the trailer clearly shows, it’s a building game where you built your city and try to defend yourself from the bad guys who sell marijuana. But future marijuana, with lasers and shlt.

its the same guys that brought us Terminator Resistance, this could be amazing, funny how gaming industry is now a days, I have 0 excitement for AAA gaming, but am super excited for lower budget AA gaming dev teams works.
Update: forgot to mention, this game could be a FPS, because Teyon recently updated Terminator Resistance with a T800 mode, where you play as the famed robot, this mode could of been a little test for what they want to do in RoboCop.

same here man all the games i am interested are indies like the boomer shooters or they are made in eastern europe or asia. Also yeah you can half see robocop in the dlc. They even put a long pistol that is similar to robocop’s gun the way it functions.
Same. They did us right by giving us the Terminator game fans wanted,, so I’m pretty confident they can do us right with Robocop, especially since no one else is bothering with that IP these days.
now i am excited i would prefer they made a total recall game or something but yeah they knew what they were doing with terminator resistance but i want another terminator game.
